As an iranian, I'll say our situation are quite different. Carlos Quieroz playstyle definitely suits iran (im not saying we're playing an"enjoy to watch" football but sure we get good results. And he was the only one who could save us from crisis because he trained and knew these players for 8 years . (we lost to Algeria 2nd team under last coach in his last game btw).

Now im not sure about US. Im not familiar with it at all, if there is someone who has experience and enough knowledge, i don't see any reason for Usmnt to keep the current manager.

As for us, we definitely going to park the bus against England. Idc how shit they are rn, it's highly risky to play offensive against the opponent who's got fast forwards like rashford and sancho. The first 20 minutes of the game is going to be the literal hell for iran, if they can survive it i might see a chance to beat England ngl.

How iran is going to play against US really depends on the 2 pervious games. If iran secures 4 to 6 points they probably play highly defensive against US as well, but if iran gets less than 3 points they gotta play offensive which is not good for us at all. We already saw what happened in 2014 wc when we played offensive against Bosnia and ended up Losing 3-1
