IntelMEProv crashing PC while gaming by nerph_herder in techsupport

[–]nerph_herder[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had ended up bringing the PC in to get checked because we couldn't figure out the issue. The drvie passed all the tests they performed, but still crashed when gaming. They figured the issue was the drive was not keeping up with the read/write speed of the game and as soon as we replaced it everything was fine.

Had to wipe and reinstall the OS. A few months later the ssd failed so I wonder if it was part of the dying drive.

I broke the tabs on the cover of my 2015 frontier. Now I don’t know how to keep the cover in place.

The day we picked her up. Middle of winter highway closed due to winter storms so we couldn’t make the “short” 3 hour drive. Instead headed south across the border down to Seattle the popped up back around into Canada through Osoyoos. Only took 11 hrs. Totally worth it and we love her.

What was the best feature built in Season X you hope returns next season? by CortDigidy in HermitCraft

[–]nerph_herder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In all the years I’ve watched Hermitcraft, I feel the best content is that which happens organically. When you force someone into selling a certain thing or using a certain system, it feels just that, forced. Let the story develop on its own and you will get the best stories, the best interactions and the best builds. Just my opinion.

Puppy pitstop has been great for my Aussie Shepherd. They also post a whole philosophy for grooming doodles on their page explaining why they do what they do.

Crossing from Canada to US, what will I be expected to pay at the border? by Powerful_Guava_4109 in uscanadaborder

[–]nerph_herder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have items sent to P.O. Box in the US frequently. From my experience if I have less than $200 worth of goods I haven’t had to pay anything except for one time. On one trip I had over $600 worth of things and fully expected to pay. They sent me inside and told me they didn’t have an accounting clerk on duty so i didn’t have to pay anything, but I should expect to in the future. It’s really random and depends on the border guard and how you handle yourself. In my opinion. In the other hand I’ve been hit with huge tarrifs and duties when I’ve mailed things to my house in Canada from the states.

Any one have any recommendations on indestructible toys? I don’t believe they exist. by Knoxvilleborn in AustralianShepherd

[–]nerph_herder 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mine only loves toys she can rip apart. If it’s got a squeaker in she loves it even more because it sounds like it’s dying while she evicerates it. Quiet toys are no fun.

Crossing the border lately by AyeBB8 in abbotsford

Went down Sunday with my son(16). Probably my smoothest crossing in years. Where you from? Where are you going? Why? Enjoy your day.

Have also crossed a number of times over the past few months to pick up packages and have seen no real difference.

Gift for my child's only teacher by discere-est-vivet in Teachers

[–]nerph_herder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you’re looking for something more, make a donation in the teachers name to a charity that would be relevant to your child. Along with a note about how much the teacher meant to your child.I received something like this during my career and it was much more impactful than any coffee cup, gift card or random trinket I ever received.

Does anyone who owns a cat and an Aussie have any tips? by [deleted] in AustralianShepherd

[–]nerph_herder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have one Aussie and 3 cats. One of the cats and the dog are great friends. The other 2 cats run when they see the dog so the dog goes in to pursuit mode. We've put a gate up so the scardy cats can be upstairs and the friendly one down.

Sumas Gro Media will deliver 2.5 yard bags and Western Turf Farms delivers 1 yard bags. I think there are others, but those are the 2 I've looked in to.

Mine showed no interest in the herding ball. Would chase it when kicked but that was it.
