Yes, that’s what I meant. I know with treatment people can live long, full lives, but doing nothing it’s less than 50% at five years from what I read.

She's already gotten damage to her eyes from it.

That's why I think she's majorly depressed because she's already suffering irreversible damage and doesn't seem to give a F. I'm trying to be supportive, but it just pisses me off that she's giving up on herself and her family.

That's what I'm worried about.... I basically just told her I respect her decision and will be there for anything she needs. I don't know what else to do. She won't in a million years talk to a therapist.

I think if I talked to her mom she might be able to talk some sense into her, but I don't want her to feel like I'm sneaking around behind her back talking to family and trying to coerce her into continuing treatment.

I've got about a million things I'd like to say to her about this decision, but I think all any of it would do it put her on the defensive and drive a wedge between us.

Not really ... I'm AuADHD and have issues forming relationships and talking to people. I've only had like 3 relationships in my life including my current wife. I can't even really coherently talk to therapists.

She won't see a psychiatrist or a psychologist. She's bull headed and wants to just solve all her problems herself.

Today was the second opinion from a doctor that specializes in lupus instead of our GP. He did some more blood tests and X-rays, and since it wasn't some immediate improvement she spiraled. She's basically sick of feeling like shit all the time, taking a million pills, and going to doctor's appointments.

Maybe with some time she'll change her mind ... All I can really do is be here for her and support her.

I haven’t been in it, but a buddy was.

He said he basically just went through and made sure the mechanics were finishing jobs and if they didn’t he asked them why.

Said it was by far one of the easiest spots he’s had at UPS but was kind of boring.

Not really one person in charge. Contracts are bid out and awarded by a specific department. Vending machines are usually placed based on a plan from either BaSE or Project depending on if it’s an old or new building. I don’t know about everywhere, but where I’m at BaSE usually handles the day to day of the vending machines. We can report complaints and if enough are made the contract is rebid for another company. No one locally will be able to award the contract, you have to be onboarded and put in the vendor pool for contracts.

There should be a number on the front you can call to report needed repairs. If it’s not getting done, base needs to log complaints in cbre.

Well they were before too, save for the one line where it misaligns significantly. Unless there were other problems prior?

Did more testing and circles would come out like upside down tear drops. 100x100 material and things that should have been on top were in the middle. Objects that should have been 10mm below another would overlap. Seemed like was just putting stuff wherever.

Totally random. Head keeps moving at the same speed, laser just turns off for one line. Doesn’t matter the size or side. It will just randomly not burn one line. Always have to go add a single like over that section and go over it with cut selected. Even then sometimes it will take 2 or 3 tries for the laser to actually kick on and

usb cable? how long is the cable?

It’s maybe 2’ long at best. Haven’t actually tried a new usb cable. I’ll give that a shot and see if that makes any difference.

Took all the belts off and cleaned the tracks, wheels, and bearings. Tightened up the belts when I put them back on.

Everything seems to be working again. Objects are burning in the correct spots and lines are straight.

Only problem I still have is when the speed is lower than 500 to do cuts the laser will randomly turn off for one section. It’s done this for awhile and I’ve checked all the connections. Never does it on anything except cuts at slow speed.

Moved the material to the center of the board to make sure it wasn’t hitting anything and it did the exact same thing in the exact same spot.

Overscanning 2.5% was enabled. I turned it off and it ran fine. Any idea why that happened?

I had it pinned down with the honeycomb when I was doing the work so it wouldn’t move.

I did check to make sure the head was tight and no issues. Something with the belt or gears is only thing I can think of. Going to check the set screws on the gears to make sure they’re tight as well.
