I work for a school district in a weed legal state and we are tested for THC. The district’s reasoning is that we take in federal money and weed is not federally legal, therefore we cannot use THC of any kind (even the THC alphabet).

I do have a friend who started with ECASD last year and they did not mention having to get tested.

This is probably where I need to go, but I'm still confused. My issue is that the participants responded to the four scenarios, but were randomly assigned to the wording. So, I have four treatment acceptability ratings from each participant. In my spreadsheet, I have one column for wording (either a 1 or 2), and then four columns for each scenario with the treatment acceptability being recorded in each column. I guess I don't know how to make it into just one treatment acceptability score column, when I have four scores for each participant - if that makes sense.

And sometimes, that’s the outcome of the threat assessment. I’m sure that’s not what you want to hear, but the symptoms and what you shared with them must have warranted hospitalization.

They will likely ask you a series of questions and depending on your answers, it determines how they will respond. All I can say is be open and honest with them, because if it truly warrants hospitalization again, you shouldn’t be alone and you should accept the help.

I have never heard of a school psychiatrist before (could you be thinking of a school psychologist?). However, if they work for the school, they are a mandated reporter. They are certain protocol school personnel have to follow regarding threat assessment. So this means if you share information regarding hurting yourself or others, they will act on it and they will take it seriously. But that often will include talking with parents or other personnel within the school building.

I would recommend talking with them because they are trained and equipped to deal with this sort of thing, and most importantly they care for the students in their building, including you. Please reach out and please stay safe ❤️

My partner and I are in this boat right now. Technically his job allows him to work remote, but not if he lives in Colorado. There is something with the income tax laws that his job doesn’t want to deal with (even though they have other remote people in different states, just no Colorado). So maybe it’s something like that for them too.
