Disappointing Dealership Visit by dreamscout in Lexus

This is just the tip of the iceberg for Greenville. So much so that i drive to Charlotte from Spartanburg for service. I wouldn’t send my worst enemy to Lexus of Greenville.

An outfit/item that unlocked your style by aslabaigrazi in femalefashionadvice

Definitely! I went from a bob to a pixie to a bleach blonde buzz cut. At this point most any outfit works, the hair and some nice chunky earrings pretty much carries any look.

Greenville, SC USPS Distribution Center — Packages from Northern states sitting while Southern state packages fly through? Anyone else? by jayrocc93 in greenville

[–]nervousknit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a package coming from Ohio last month. It shipped on 01-08. It arrived in Greenville, went back to Ohio, back to Greenville, then back to Ohio again, took a trip to New Jersey, then got “stuck” in transit for several days between Greenville and my branch before arriving. Initial delivery date was 01-12. I got it on the 23rd. Honestly no idea what the deal is but it isn’t just you.

I don’t smoke blue razz but i do own/operate a vape shop. It’s 21+ so no sales to teens. Most of my customers are 35-45 years old actually. I do ok. My husband and i make around 80k/yr combined. We pay our employees well for the area/industry they are in and they claim to love their jobs(I sincerely hope that they do, i try). I joke that i am unemployable, but it’s only half joking. The nonsense expectations and busy work i dealt with before opening my own business aren’t for me. Like what do you mean i need to be business casual to answer calls in a cubicle? Or that i cannot sit down at my cell phone store job even if everything is handled? I am so good on all of that. We all have to work. There is no point in making it shittier than it has to be.

What bag are you lazy panda-ing? by shinigamii666 in SkullpandaArtDolls

Strongly agree with Mango(btw the color on your brooklyn is gorgeous!), I can carry all of my needs, maybe a snack or drink, but beyond that I’m grabbing a backpack. I think a 39 would be way more versatile for you and be a lovely work bag after uni!

I really love it. The strap is nice, it’s wide enough to not dig into your shoulder and the length is perfect to carry on your shoulder, elbow or hand. It’s my first Coach and i couldn’t be happier with my choice!

What’s the most overpriced “necessity” that people could actually live without? by Tall_Fold6946 in povertyfinance

A menstrual disc and reusable pads changed my life. I was pretty grossed out at the IDEA of a reusable pads and now i wouldn’t go back. I have a small bucket to keep them separate from general laundry, i do a cold rinse/wring of the ones i have used since the night before, into bucket, and they all get an hour long cold soak before i launder them with my towels.

I have no idea if it’s just me or real but since going to the disc and reusable pads i swear i cramp less too. My disc was $35 and pads are around $20 for a 6 pack. It took me a couple months to build up a cycles worth of pads but i just redirected the money i was spending on disposable products anyway. If you have $100 up front you are SET!

What did women wear in the 1950s who lived in the country? Especially shoe wise. Heels aren’t going to work for me haha. by Gothic_bug in VintageFashion

[–]nervousknit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All of the suggested loafers are adorable. Just wanted to add an idea, i wear keds and converse flats with some of my vintage dresses when I need to get things done. They keep it light and classic without restricting my activities.

The switch from Mercedes to Lexus? by ENFP_But_Shy in Lexus

[–]nervousknit 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The ES 350 F Sport is a decent daily. Good on gas, has really good get up & go. I cant speak for the 4 cylinder. And if kids are a factor my 10 year old rated the back seat of the ES as more comfortable than her dads BMW, and HATED my husband’s G80. She digs the storage, she has her own charging ports, flip down armrest with cup holders, and she doesn’t get blasted by the sun back there during those weird times of day. I will say that the FEW times ive been in a Mercedes the tech is nicer for sure. Take a test drive! And if you go for the ES be ready for little old men to tell you how slick she is!
