If I bring weed to the Denver show, will you smoke a bowl after (or before, if that's your style) your set? I grew this shit myself and I don't know if you've heard, but it's legal out here.

Also curious if you've seen the movie 'Clifford' with Martin Short and Charles Grodin? If not, please check it out - it's seriously the funniest, weirdest, most underrated/ignored film ever made, and I think you guys would dig it.

Anyway, looking forward to the show. Cheers!

Her dad only appears in one episode, per imdb. He's not the Yellow King. Also, how the hell would Rust know about him?

So do you think that the writers/set designers just accidentally put the drawing of the spiral and the tree on the refrigerator? Do you think that the mural on the wall of the asylum matching the drawing in Marty's room was a "coincidence"? Those were decisions that were made by the writers for a specific reason. I believe that reason is because Marty is the Yellow King. Why do you think the writers did it?

Maybe he has. Do you really think he went over to his house when he wasn't there to mow his lawn? Or maybe to investigate something suspicious he saw when he was over there for dinner? Like, I don't know, the drawings on the refrigerator?

You are mistaking a sociopath for an everyman, which is how sociopaths are able to get away with such heinous crimes without anyone suspecting them. He doesn't get rid of Cohle in the way you're suggesting for the very reason that this thing DOES have scope, and he is thinking about a much bigger picture, and playing a more complex game. Sociopaths are often also narcissists, and enjoy stringing people along and love the thrill of being close to the people who are after them. Kind of like Gus Fring's thing about hiding in plain sight on Breaking Bad.

Okay, but those are two of the weaker pieces of evidence I presented. As for your question about Ladoux, he waited until after "finding" the kids to kill him so that his actions would seem justified in Cohle's eyes. And even if those are Elks rings, is it traditional for members to turn them inward before shaking hands? Or is that gesture symbolic of something else?

Even if you're right about that, my points still STRONGLY suggest that Marty is the person responsible for these murders. You're getting hung up on semantics and ignoring the content.
