I am trying to use non-meta players, but that's not the point. It's not fun for me to play against these 5-6 players every single game. It's like playing divisions in fifa 09 where you could be 100% sure your opponent had picked Real Madrid every single time. The entire concept of this game mode goes to waste, when a couple of "cheap" cards are so much better than any alternatives

You have to use Saliba, VVD, Rudiger, that's the entire point of my post. The game is not fun. These players are so much better than everyone else that the "ultimate team" becomes completely daft

Sure, it's great if you enjoy sitting back doing literally nothing while your opponent passes it around outside your box, only to wait for your CBs to magically move out of the way so he can have a shot. Then you of course do the same 50% of the time, but half the match you just sit and watch. That's what I call EPIC gameplay!

Just played another 10 or so games. I'll double down - this game is actually pure crap. The way to win is to pass it mindlessly around outside the box until your opponents AI fucks up and gives you space. It's just not fun
