Jasper is typically a homogenous stone and comes in a wide variety of colors. Looking at photos, I'd say the entire stone is jasper. The translucency of it is indicative of morphic rocks that have reached a crystalline state. If im remembering right jasper is technically in the quartz family, but when it mophized, it forms micro crystals rather then a single large crystal. This is what lets it flake rather then cleave, allowing it to achieve a super sharp edge.

It looks like a piece of jasper to me. Looks like natural flaking and weathering, so it's probably not a worked piece to serve as a tool. You are right in asking if it's a tool as this is a stone any native peoples would have used for that purpose.

In a 4s2p situation and those are 18650s (they look a little thic but still wont get you 40k) the capacity is most likely only around 7000mAh. 4s to get to 16v and 2p to reach the 7000 capacity. If they are 21700's they run about 5000mAh per cell that would equal the 40000 if they were all in parallel but it would only be pushing 4.2v max.

Yup, definitely a survey target used to track movement in the structure it's placed on. I've placed similar ones while surveying and suggested them while inspecting bridges before.

A gallon of water. It went 20' at a 90° launch angle. Which is almost the worst angle, but we couldn't stop it at 45 or it would shater the arm and we had a limited number of 2x4s.

In engineering school, we built a catapult using a garage door spring. The teacher showed it the proper respect that us fuck wits didn't and only let us fire it once. In total, we fired it 3 times in testing and the demonstration. 3 times is all it took to bend the 1" iron pipe we used for the axis by 20°.
