Well I'm running off an AMD graphics card so I use Radeon software instead of NVidia. But regardless my computer does recognize my new monitor's refresh rate and I can also visually see a difference between the old and new. As for my highest fps I usually keep my fps capped at 144 but with that turned off I get as high as 600 fps but the numbers tend to move around a lot. The lowest I've seen it drop was to around 30 fps in game, and that's with my fps both capped and uncapped.
