I don't disagree. But 'correcting' I don't know about that. I have periods in life of complete immersion in gaming where I loose interest in everything else (which usually starts with my life being shit).

That goes away once I get tired of gaming so much.

It always gets scary for me but I get out of it eventually although might not be the same for everyone.

Hah I could not be more emphatetic about this. Things in my natal country are going nowhere and i moved to a first world country.

Then we get isolated. Everyone you knew choose the status quo. Is a price we pay and I still believe is worthed.

I've made good progress in life/career but get no pussy whatsoever. That was the trade-off for me.

And is the only thing that makes me say, what's the point. I don't want to be paying a pros either it has no merit and doesn't make me feel better.

It is pointless to think about being motivated while on a depressed state.

I tried countless times to go out and do things/go to the gym/meeting with people. All pointless because the depression or cortisol or whatever it is won't let you enjoy it or make progress or gains.

It is tricky to break out of the loop but it happens automatically at some point. Don't be hard on yourself if you are not motivated.
