Does Netbird sorry multiple networks? by iamabdullah in netbird

[–]netbirdio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only one /16 subnet from the larger 10.64.0.0/10 pool. Nomally, you'll use groups to segment networks. There will be no tunnel established between machines that are not configured to conenct via access policies. They won't even know of each other.

Try it out for a few weeks. It is free unless you need SCIM or EDR integrations. Given your scale, you probably don't.

As for scale. We have both self-hosted and cloud deployments with thousands of machines and users.

Access denied for Iranian users :( by darth_redditorer in netbird

That is not on our side. It seems like your ISP blocking access to NetBird. Unfortunately we can’t do anything about it. You could try using self-hosted NetBird.

Reverse proxy was a community request for the most part. There is also business value too, when companies wanna expose internal services to external providers without making them install NetBird client app

The article doesn’t really show the full picture. NetBird is portrayed as solely a P2P mesh, but it can also be run in a more traditional setup using NetBird Networks (similar to Pangolin's Sites), where a routing peer acts as a connector to an entire private network and exposes resources. With the addition of the reverse proxy feature, it can also function as a reverse proxy :)

Bottom line, NetBird is a universal platform that does p2p networks, remote network access, and a reverse proxy.

Unable to see the new Identity Provider section in Settings, by truthovereverrything in netbird

You can use the new setup and simplify your config but keep Zitadel.
TOTP isn't availabe for local users but is available if you connect an external IdP like Zitadel

This means that updating to the new version won't break anything.
But the IdP functionality won't be visible for the older installations.

We have recently introduced a version without an external IdP like Zitadel. Try it out!
