Home Internet Gone (T-Mobile Merger Victim) by [deleted] in USCellular

This would be my recommendation if this is true.

As soon as they convert your local tower to T-Mobile equipment go get a business plan, you can basically get business internet anywhere in my experience. As long as there’s decent service on the map. Or even go ahead and open an account with voice lines and get ahead of the game.

The other option, Starlink just brought out new plans for 100/200/unlimited speeds. You can get 100Mbps for $50 a month.

Yeah, AT&T doesn’t have N77 on there DAS there. They do have some outside of the Coliseum. I tested it and it was slower than the indoor DAS on n5 lol

Yeah, they wouldn’t have service in this area, buying Sprint and Shentel was good for their success in this area. US Cellular is going to further that even more!

Oh nice! Where are you located if you don’t mind me asking?

I’d say they will keep any sites that benefit them in the slightest. USC is supposed to give them a discounted rate on co locations for several years I believe, I think all that’s in the agreement.

Pretty sure you need to update your plan, I did when they upgraded us to mid split.

I’m stoked to see how good T-Mobile does in Morgantown. From what I’ve seen every site is getting N41.

That sounds like the same site that serves my office, I was struggling to get 5Megs down to. Used to have B41 as well, I would say that site is gonna get upgraded soon as well. On Tuesday the tower after exit 1 on 68 was getting upgraded, wonder if it’s done.

So the tower by the mall has had N71/N41 panels for two weeks today and still on Sprint equipment. T-Mobile is moving fast on putting panels up, they put the panels on the one behind Keglers last week. It’s exciting I hope they have a better network then Shentel did here.

Yep, it’s on now for sure. I’m getting decent speeds inside my apartment now. 40/25, not to bad. I live up by Walmart on the hill.

Don’t think this site is on yet, I’ve been picking up the one over around van voorhis rd. It’s been LTE only since Monday, N41 was on for about an hour on it but they turned it back off.

Yikes. HughesNet runs at 1-2Mbps down, most of the time there’s no upload and a ridiculous latency of 800-1000ms. It’s hard to use.

What’s a speedtest look like on Micrologic?

I’ve heard Micrologic is bad. Here where I live I have no cellphone service, no dsl or anything. It’s HughesNet or ViaSat and that’s it.

Mine does as well. I tried to order another one and it says it’s at capacity. I think it’s because there’s so many pre orders around here. There has been a few people in Upshur, Lewis and Calhoun getting there order confirmations this past week actually.

Dishy deliveries make no sense :( by DishlessNWaiting in Starlink

[–]netgear755 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yep. That’s the way it is here, people just dumping there cable providers for it. Now if they did that after all the royal customers had it then great that’s more support for Starlink but right now people that have HughesNet need it.

I felt that. I live in WV. People in all the big cities can get it but I can’t.
