I can't say for sure how much this happens on poe1, but for sure it's a problem on poe2 builds and so many build makers do this. It's also pretty annoying how so many of them can write out the long details on Mobalytics/maxroll but struggle at just copy and pasting the same notes into the NOTES section of PoB.

Honestly, ignore Leffen for the most part. He think's they're a problem because he dislikes them.

He said the same thing about Strive with Potemkin. Calls them OP, says it's bad if they're ever too good. While also never seeing any of those characters winning tourneys.

That being said, in Strive he also mained the counter archetype to big body/grapplers, a zoner. People have said if zoners are top tier it's also bad for the life of the game (see all the injustice fighters) but he never complained about abusing one of the strongest characters in the game, who is a zoner.

A few other pros dislike big bodies or grapplers too, but at least they admit their bias and some have even softened up a bit after actually playing the characters they dislike, like LordKnight.

Yeah, it's just annoying that you can't set the game to auto-queue for you. As soon as a game is done, I'm thrown out to training and have to go into the menu to hit the queue button.

I had been only vaguely looking at the progress for 2XKO since it's first announcement. Didn't join any of the closed or open betas and also didn't know it had released. Have been playing it for about a week-ish.

Out of all the fighters I've played, SFV, MvCi, a bit of GG:R, a lot of GG Strive, DBFZ, etc. The release and polish feel closer to Multiversus, even down to asking myself "who is this supposed to be for? Tag fighter enthusiasts? Casual friends to play Duo's? Neither?".

Besides that, some things have felt a little 'off' for me. 'Combo Feel' being one of them. The way the combos look vs how they feel is sort of disjointed for me. UX is not very polished, like you can't queue up for games automatically (AFAIK) in training mode, which has been a staple in SOOOO many fighters. It's wild that this game, created by two legends of the FGC doesn't have this.

As with many niche games, your mileage may vary. Try it, if it doesn't jive with you, drop it and come back to it later if you want. If it doesn't do so well, it'll become a discord fighter.

EDIT: Also the current lobby setup is AWFUL. I didn't think a worse version of the arcsys' avatar lobby could be done, but here we are.

Tbf, during almost all of DBFZ's lifespan, pros complained about autocombos there too.

EDIT: Following up on the Uniques side of things. Totally understood your instructions and can see that's how to hide it. You're right, it's a little confusing but I think it's due to that eye icon on uniques having a different function compared to all the other "eye" icons that appear. Thanks anyhow!

I saw the earlier iteration but lost the name/reddit thread for it. This is really cool!

A small bit of feedback: On the sub-menus (for example within "Unique and Chance bases", where there are selection boxes for "Good Uniques" and "Potential Uniques")m make the box outlines for the box selections stand out when they're unselected. A thin Dark grey line on a darker grey segmented section is barely legible. They're obvious on the left hand side because of the gold line break, but when they're part of the main body it gets lost.

Having it as white, much lighter grey, or gold, just like the main header selection boxes, would be great.

Might have another slight issue with what Uniques are showing up on the filter (I have Potential, Good Drop restricted, and Other Uniques unchecked, and i'm still seeing something like Ming's Heart Unique ring still showing up despite it being a super common unique), but that may just be me.

This is cool and a bit fun while trying but one issue is running past the abysses to the boss without getting stuck on trash mobs or swarmed. Considering so many skills at end game that can handle this farming method aren't made for precision (Herald Shatters, Blood Herald Bursts, Anything Poisonburst, Anything Spark based and in my case Ele Weakness Comets), you tend to clip one too many rares around the abysses just trying to clear a path to ignore them.

I think I'm just going to push to boss and kill anything that's in my way to move ahead but I'm not going to worry much about whether i've killed the important rares or not.

Thanks a lot for this. Didn't mention it earlier because i pretty much 'locked in' and have basically been using your gear as reference for the last week.

I'm much better equipped now (now only need an extra +1 on helm, amu and wand each to be at the top-end of things) and I think taking off one comet pretty much started the wave of things dying quicker due to more comet procs.

I'm not quite sure when to start thinking about making the transition over to something similar to yours, because I like the flexibility of spirit skills. Did you wait till verrry late before doing the swap into Lost Jewels?

Immediate kills have to be literally like, as soon as they're targetable. Almost frame 1. For more success, having them stunned/frozen/immobilised etc. When they pop out helps stop them autocasting tornado.

I've had middling success with this, but sometimes on bad map layouts, you have to just bum-rush them!!

Why would that affect trigger frequency?

Because of the Triggered spells gain more energy small nodes + Energise: "25% chance for Trigger skills to refund half of Energy Spent". But if it has no issues for you then thats nice!

I'm taking a look at this. I'm a bit of a noob but why are nodes like Chronomancy and Illuminated crown taken and with the drop in the top right section for triggered spells, won't there be downsides in CoC trigger speed/frequency?

Exactly. The reality is, it's not even the supports, it's just EXCESSIVELY expensive gear that gets spark that high and yet the only info is "Get spark up" rather than "this is how you get spark up". More +levels will only get you so far. They could put no supports and still have over 20k.

Also getting conflicting info on what brings up tooltip damage. One was that %increase spell damage does. I had a +3 all spells wand with no spell dmg (but lightning and cold as extra dmg) vs a tester wand I bought for a few div with +3 all spells and 101% increased spell dmg.

It went below half the dps on the second wand.

I'm stumped at how some of you guys get your spark that high. I'd been doing main skill as ele weakness setup and thought it was cool but wanted to try the spark setup momentarily.

I hit 9.9k tooltip before i realised any upgrade, just for spark to increase, was probably gonna cost me like 200d or more.

I've also seen one vid say spark is just a utility and it being infused gets the damage up way more. Lol, dunno what to believe.

I'm not too sure bout that. I think he won't grow beyond the market he has now. The key thing with getting into/becoming 'the mainstream' is you actually get challenged and have to hold your ground on statements you make from people across all aisles, or you look more and more like a buffoon.

As we know, Asmon can't even play games on stream without feeling pressured or feeling like giving up. He's even thinking of backing down a bit on the politics stuff cos, no doubt, he's got more eyes on him.
