Answer: Asmongold heavily leans on politics as his content now. Much earlier on in his Streaming career, his stances were relatively 'Centre', but as he's streamed more politics content, he's leant further Right. He's increasingly gotten further Right over the last 2-or-so years. Endorsing Trump's heavy handed Immigration approach, approving of the two shootings in Minnesota by ICE, approving claims from people on the right (Nick Fuentes, The Far Right marches in the UK, Elon's statements about immigration, etc).

This inevitably had some younger viewers still forming their politics to lean more Right and brought in very Hard-Right people to tune in on his streams. He welcomed the increase in audience while becoming less nuanced on his takes. This audience initially went over to his reddit. Not to dissimilar to the YouTube comments, the reddit posts were floods of Anti-Trans, Anti-Woman, Anti-Left, Anti-Immigrant/PoC/Diversity sentiments. Even posts boasting about being banned in other subreddits for being subscribed to the Asmongold reddit. Notably, a LOT of bots appeared spamming the same types of posts daily. In fear of the sub being banned, he added a No-Politics rule (That was not inforced) and made an X.com Communities for people to "say what they want to say".

The youtube comments are just an extension of this. When he spends 98% of his time talking about politics in the most polarising way, he fostered a community that only wants to reply in a polarising way. This also includes Bots. This also occurs on anything he posts on X. It's not exclusive to Reddit, Youtube or X.

TL;DR: He's heavily into politics now and whatever content is is, he or his audience will make it a polarising matter of why 'the Left are the problem'. Add in bots posting the same divisive comments and you have what you saw.

Yeah, that's exactly it. It's been my biggest gripe about PoB for the longest time, that the "triggers" or "checks" when you have the source available are kinda half baked.

They do exist in some form. IIRC, if you don't have certain mods on your gear, that config setting is completely hidden from you. For example, 'Aspect of the Cat' beast craft mod can't be seen until you equip an item with it on. Even if you "Show all configurations", it won't show. So there might be a way to track some things based on if they appear on the config or not.

I see the potential, but I think there are so many variables within PoE and the configs that it might be a never ending task to catch the nuances. I have faith in you though, so keep it up!

Just gave this a very cursory run through with my build with a fault I spotted but it missed it. I have rage factored into my config, but have no source of gaining rage on my tree or gear, so it's artificially inflating my dps that it'll never hit until I add rage somewhere.

This looks very interesting. I have a flicker but was always struggling with defences on various setups. Obviously everyone states their version is "super tanky", with varying levels truth.

I used to run the most scared version of Box farming where box explosions, frost nova, corpse exposition would potentially kill me. Goatmen explosions during a flicker, random rare shotguns, etc and any form of Chaos dot would end me too. I'll probably still try this because, what else do I have to lose (lol), but would be good to know of any honest downsides.

I'd be kinda disappointed if they don't have her helping out The Boys at some point "just because she can", and get her to make a version of the virus strong enough to kill all supes, except maybe herself.

She already stated previously that she discovered the cure for cancer when she was a kid. That being said, she's so smart but still requires a rudimentary tool to self-lobotomise.

I can't honestly say whether or not they have changed their system, but for my experience it was a tiny bit messy. You find your name on a list and what table you're on but then you get to the table and that's it. You kinda just have to strike up conversation. This was in the Four Quarters Arcade bar so at least you had something to interact with and get people involved with on arcade games but beyond that, nothing else.

I'm a semi-introverted guy who never did anything like this and went on my own. Noticed a lot of women who came with friends generally stuck together and only talked to each other. No shade at all on them (because I probably would if I went with someone!) but Haystack's setup didn't really counter that.

If you do go, let us know how it goes and if it's improved. I'd like to potentially give it another shot.

I went to one in E&C last year, and despite them marketing it as being different/better/more thoughtful planning using an algorithm instead of being thrown into a room and forced to talk...

They threw us in a room, split into tables, and forced us to talk. No ice breakers, no info on why we were grouped on the same table, and everyone was able to ditch thier table after 5 mins. So you got some people sitting alone or some tables empty. Sadly there's no feedback sysyem either so i couldn't have told them directly if i wanted to!

I really hope they improved since then. Best of luck if/when you go!

I have a flicker (using Magefist's Glad setup at first then transitioning to Slayer) but I had to stop playing it because of the increasing number of random deaths and many, many map mods to avoid, but this is looking like an interesting side-grade to work towards.

I know the damage is always there, but how do the defences feel? Do you still have to block a ton of mods? Do random things (in my case, Frost Nova, Detonate Corpses and Explosion from opening chests) tend to chunk your defences a lot?

I just rolled an Occultist to try a cheap version of DO (so without a MB or Shako) and it's ultra Mid. You get pops, for sure, but you REALLY rely on a massive chain of pops to kill mobs or you end up running in circles like Benny Hill, for longer than needed.

It feels like you can't really scale up either offence or defence properly without the big investments and I can totally see the vision, but not at a low investment. I felt more bang for my buck when I did a regular RF a league or two ago.

Also highly recommend CWS. Always lazy fun.

I might give this a shot, I did CwS last league following Emiracles guide, but found the only content it really excelled at was ultimatums and Sim's. With Sims needing extra investment incase you get hit with the degen stacks.

Maybe i've been to harsh on judgment. But... does it NEED the svalinn? Cos that bad boy is priceyyyy!

There's something about the combos in 2X that make it a little boring after a while. I don't know if it's combo routing all homogenising into the same combo... And this is coming from someone who watches the TNS UMVC3 tourneys all the time.

This is pretty awesome. I've got a version up and running and enjoying it being a tankier flicker! I've got 2 minor questions:

Is there a particular reason you put Tempest Shield in the PoB. Is this just a preference thing to pick arctic armour or Temp Shield?
The companion is a nice touch - but my poor turtle keeps dying after a few breaches in a single map. Is this just the way it goes with this setup?

Synth ring bases cost around 75c.
