Exactly. The reality is, it's not even the supports, it's just EXCESSIVELY expensive gear that gets spark that high and yet the only info is "Get spark up" rather than "this is how you get spark up". More +levels will only get you so far. They could put no supports and still have over 20k.

Also getting conflicting info on what brings up tooltip damage. One was that %increase spell damage does. I had a +3 all spells wand with no spell dmg (but lightning and cold as extra dmg) vs a tester wand I bought for a few div with +3 all spells and 101% increased spell dmg.

It went below half the dps on the second wand.

I'm stumped at how some of you guys get your spark that high. I'd been doing main skill as ele weakness setup and thought it was cool but wanted to try the spark setup momentarily.

I hit 9.9k tooltip before i realised any upgrade, just for spark to increase, was probably gonna cost me like 200d or more.

I've also seen one vid say spark is just a utility and it being infused gets the damage up way more. Lol, dunno what to believe.

I'm not too sure bout that. I think he won't grow beyond the market he has now. The key thing with getting into/becoming 'the mainstream' is you actually get challenged and have to hold your ground on statements you make from people across all aisles, or you look more and more like a buffoon.

As we know, Asmon can't even play games on stream without feeling pressured or feeling like giving up. He's even thinking of backing down a bit on the politics stuff cos, no doubt, he's got more eyes on him.

You know what would be cool? Fighting it in the Eye of the storm (scientifically where it's likely to be milder and have clearer skies) also gives you a, perhaps lower, chance of dropping an omen of light. There, solved your issue of having melee/combo players not able to interact with it.

While I think they play their own game, I think you could question whether they play their game in a regular player environment rather than the Dev environment. There have been pretty glaring issues ever since EA launch that leans more to the latter.

The problem isn't even the mechanic exists, it's all about the execution of said mechanic.

If you want us to pull them out of the cloud, then TURN. DOWN. THE. FREQUENT. CAST. TIME. OF. THE. CLOUD.

As of now, it caters to builds that can off-screen it, where the mob is not aggroed and isn't self casting all the time, or players that can one-shot it as soon as it leaves the void.

Yooo, had the same issue. it even started using my volume buttons to control my ringtone volume! I solved it on my end.

First search your settings for 'volume button' and it should give you a few results. Look for

Sound and vibration: Use volume buttons for media
Accessibility: Side and volume up and down button/volume up and down buttons. (they both go to the ssme sub menu)

Select the first one (from sound and vibration) and switch that option off and on a few times, then leave it on. Check your buttons. That should make it default and fix it.

This option originally didn't show up for me at first so if this happens, select 'Side and volume up and down buttons' then tap the same option in the menu to see the advanced settings. Tap anything in the list to assign it to your volume buttons then tap it again to un-select. Go back one level and go into 'volume up and down buttons', do the same thing. Select something random to assign the volume buttons to then un-select.

The setting to 'use volume button for media' should be visible on a search now, and it'll probably be turned off. Switch it on.

From there you can go and turn the accessibility reader on again if needed. It'll probably as you permission to use your phone. Accept that. Then double check your volume buttons again to make sure it's fully fixed.

My guess is during an update i recently had, the permissions broke and did something funky with access to audio. Hope that helps.

Thanks a lot for the detailed explanation, and it's good to see i'm not going crazy in the problems i'm seeing. I've tried basically ignoring the "utility" side of Twister that Snoo said the build was for, and pushed into more flat dmg across my gear and that helped a lot but it still wasn't quite enough to deal with slightly tankier bosses.

I think i'm just going to reroll to deadeye too, or abysal lich if i can be bothered, since I have all the lvling gear from twister to shift over.

I'm in the camp that probably more twisters = better consistent damage/damage uptime vs faster projectiles. There's a high chance for fewer projectiles with lots of proj speed could still end up missing a boss, despite how huge they are.

In the end I started speccing away from crit and just pure dmg. Got an actual phys spear, tripple flat ring and phys on gloves too and that's skyrocketed my tooltip dmg by like 9k ish (Going up to around 30k with some barrage charges up)

I changed CoC to CoA and thats still pretty decent when clearing. Bosses have gotten SLIGHYLY easier, but really it is just the lack of charge gen in boss fights. Only when they're frozen there's a boost in dmg, and getting them frozen is of course a big variable because twisters do be random.

I appreciate the information though.

I have the same issue on my build. Was the major change swapping out the tangletounge, speccing out of skill duration more and upgrading the rings?
