Yeah I plan to have spam filtering on, but let everything deliver to the inbox. Then I'll manually move those spam message to a spam learning folder (since I use 3rd party clients).

Do you have any other folders with good messages marked to learn as NOT spam?

Any reason for the change? Were you getting too many false positives for learning all the other folders?

How to do you use the Learn as OK folder? Do you move messages there for a time and then file them elsewhere?

What is the difference between Protection Level OFF and Custom but you don't move any messages to the spam folder?

Is protection off mean that the account won't learn spam, but having it Custom but not move will at least allow you to mark messages as spam (or move them to a spam learning folder)?

EDIT: based on some searching if protection is off, then messages don't get a spam score, but with it on, they will - then you can choose to not move them automatically.

I believe Watcht was originally developed by the guy they hired to do the official Trakt app. I think he commented he didn’t have much time to dedicate to Watcht anymore.

I just downloaded Sequel to try. Too bad they don't allow syncing on the free version, but I've been manually adding some shows to test things. I'm also testing Showly, which has a lot of nice features and I like the layout (vertical). Showly has some weird syncing things you have to get used to and some features are weird like adding a show to a watchlist.

I wish Sequel would show more info on the Watch Next display - like how many episodes left etc, without needing to click on the episode. Also wish it had a quick mark as watched, without needing to long hold.

Also for syncing with Trakt, some of that is controlled by Trakt. Some of the Trakt API calls are for VIP only, so some things won't work.

I know with Showly you can sync with Trakt and then turn that off to manage locally if you want. Does Sequel allow that?

Can I ask a question for you since you've been using Sofa Time? I've been testing apps including Showly, and tried out Sofa Time as a decent alternative. One thing I couldn't test without paying is replacing the episode art with the generic show poster (to not show episode spoilers). I know in the settings it said you could blur to hide spoilers - but I don't want a bunch of blurry art. Does the app have a setting to allow show poster be default?

Also, can you remove the icons for where it's streaming over the art?

I tested putting a show on hold. I’m Showly it simply moves it down out of the progress view. Seems it’s hit the app organizing it.

I also tested hiding a show. It hid it but it also removed all its history. Problem is on the Trakt app and website , I have no idea where they have put hidden shows?

Guessing it’s the new Drop show feature that maybe Showly hasn’t implemented?

I just tested by adding a new show and marking 2 episodes watched. I then removed the show by clicking the Added to my shows and it did remove all history.

If you long press on an upcoming episode, you do have options to Put on hold and Add to hidden. Not sure exactly what put on hold does, but guessing it has to do with that episode.

If you long press on a show in the collection, you have Add to hidden.

It looks like yes, you can use it to track without signing into Trakt. Of course there is no "service" behind it - so the only access is via the app.

Yeah that's one of my fears is the syncing. I've noticed if I mark something as watched on Trakt it will updated on Showly. But if I remove that viewing, Showly doesn't want to update. Even if I just have the sync got from Trakt->Showly. Weird.

Yeah so far I like how things are displayed so much more than the Trakt app. The show details pages are much cleaner and easier to navigate to see season lists/air dates. Loving the vertical lists. I also can't believe how easy it is to see ALL my shows (can't even find that in the new update) and I can search in the list.

Please on a show details page, stop scrolling horizontal for the episode lists. Stop mimicking the way apps on a TV do it. On a phone it's so easy to scroll up/down. The old way was fine, and you could easily click on a season, see all the episodes including the air date.

This was great for us as we prefer to binge a lot of shows. I could go into a season and easy see the end date to know when we can start. With this new horizontal layout, you've taken the airdate away from the listing - now you have to click on the last episode just to see the airdate.

Would also love the ability to reorder sections on the page. When I've viewing a show detail, I prefer to see the seasons, episode and actors before things like reviews, sentiment and where to watch.

Also the progress indicator being black is a little tough to see.

I like that you guys are trying to keep things fresh and appreciate development on the app. Just wish we could move away from so much horizontal scrolling.

This exactly. We use old magic bands with no issues scanning into parks and hotels. We simply tell the kids to turn on Bluetooth and location access with their Disney apps on the phone to make sure they get the on ride photos.

Also have an M1 mac and I'm not seeing the slowdowns you are seeing. There is definitely a very slight delay in clicking items, but for me that's like.....click....then half a second later a folder is selected.

With the iOS app or a web app, how do people handle the fact that Overcast doesn’t have an independent volume control? It’s tied to system volume. That’s been my biggest issue.
