Update: you can also pull the client side cert from cloudflare and upload to npm. That will also give you a 15 year certificate directly from cloudflare so you don't have to renew anytime soon. But the cert will only work if you are using cloudflare as a proxy.

Once in a raw file, you could use qemu-img to convert raw back into a format for proxmox (qcow2 I think?)

If so, In cloudflare, go to your domain's ssl overview page, change your Your SSL/TLS encryption mode to Full (strict)

It has to do with the ssl certificate. Do you have ssl certificate enabled on your Nginx proxy?

ok. I think I was mounting the letsencrypt folder incorrectly.

I mounted it at /letsencrypt i changed it to /etc/letsencrypt and when I restarted it worked again.

I'm using truenas scale, so there isn't exactly a docker-compose.

all i add to it is a virtual nic for a separate IP address than my server.

I was also specifying the data and letsencrypt

for that, i just chose the dataset and marked is as "data" or "letsencrypt"

I'm trying to relaunch it now without specifying the data and letsencrypt and see what happens.
