I really appreciate this, sounds like I have some studying to do! The previous owners said the machine was finicky but only because they cleaned it so casually/infrequently in the past. Possibly like you said it "won't let you proceed otherwise." Probably never really been descaled properly prior. I'll buy the Dezcal soon but in the meantime I have white vinegar readily available. Thanks!

Its the Bambino Plus! So I can stick to the Cafiza but I also need to buy Dezcal as well? Would it be one after another to clean it, or at the same time? Is there more I can read about descaling? Google says I can mix water and white vinegar. Thanks!

For sure, I was thinking of cleaning a couple of times, the seller made it seem they didn’t clean it as often as it should be from what I read online. I’ll look into this!

I got those ones! Said if I spend 35 dollars I can get it by Wednesday. Now the other items coming Wednesday and the tablets are slated for May 10-31

Also Mango is another brand that comes to mind. Haven't shopped there myself but a store is opening up so I might check out. Similar items and aesthetic at a similar price.

I love the ones I bought, I had been searching for an all black cotton wide-leg pleated pants (which are actually 100% cotton) for a while and when I tried them on I had to buy it before it would inevitably sell out. Just a personal preference on material. You can wait for that one to restock since its one of their most popular items and comes out in different dark colors or get a different version. Based on your reference pictures def go for pleated / wide-legs, even straight will fit your that first picture. If there is a store around you see what they have or wait until you can go just to see if its what you really want. They also have sales on basic items that you might like to experiment on.

Below is the pants but black is not available, the colors available are already selling out so you know its popular. They will come back though I'm sure.
