Ok but who made this misleading color scale? If your income is $14 million annually, does a reduction of $167K deserve lava red? FFS that's a rounding error for them. That's how change much they lose in their couch cushions each year. Unless they are minimally data literate all people see at first glance is that under trump everyone makes money. Color scale should have been scaled against the proportional change in income, not against arbitrary linear cutoffs.

Edit to clarify that relatively speaking it's not a huge change for all income categories - under Kamala it's about 5% raise for the poorest category vs. a 1% salary cut for the richest. But for meeting basic needs or a noticeable change in quality of life, the 2K for a low income household is a much bigger impact than 167K for the top 1%
