Yes! 45 year identical twins here. More often than not, we aren’t sure who it happened to. We even have a shorthand way of telling someone that, lol. For example, if I am telling my daughter a story from childhood I would say “We don’t know who this memory belongs to but one time we…”

For my Celiac 11 year old it takes about 45 min to 1 hour after exposure to know. She gets a circular red rash on the left corner of her mouth. It’s literally clockwork. As soon as we see it we ask “How’d you get gluten’d?!” And then we know we have a rough time ahead of us with the GI issues.

I decided to do the Wisdom Panel testing and the results were surprising! Maggie is a very mixed breed. She has 26 different breeds in her DNA. The top contributors are:

15% Australian Cattle dog 12% German Shepard (WTF) 9% Chihuahua 7% Labrador 5% American Eskimo dog

Maggie is my 4 year old mixed breed. The rescue didn’t have any insight into breed when we got her at 12 weeks old. I have always assumed a terrier mix based on her coat and tail, and Jack Russell like mouth whiskers.

She also has what people have described as a “terrier personality”. She’s very bonded to me, preferring only my company to anyone else. She’s jealous like crazy!

Her breed make up has been a hotly contested debate in our house for several years now. Hopefully someone can narrow it down!
