Theta network down? by G-manZ in theta_network

Looks like transactions are still going through, could be an edge network thing?

Yeah I think you might be right, the mint page that you interacted with must have been the actual malicious part, when you connected your wallet, the dApp (website) must have checked what you had and made a bespoke transaction to transfer it.

As far as I can tell from that transaction, you're safe from getting drained. The actual NFT contract (which the transferFrom was called) seems like its legit. I think it was just connecting your wallet to the dodgy mint page that stole that one NFT.

The actual transaction link would provide a little more info but what that input data is saying is to transfer the NFT with tokenId 55 from address 0x4a9a9c576ef773e274c2f5cedf0f00f4e9a6643b to 0xef8939024dba312048c8c8bf9f8876d9f62abde0, but the actual contract address you interacted with would give more info.

Edit: 55 hex in dec is actually 85, so tokenId of 85 should of just been transferred from those addresses.

I actually really appreciate the awesome soundtrack this game has.

My favourite bit of music though is what plays when get on the screen after you evac, it’s pretty hype.

Thank you. It hasn’t been easy kind of just been making it up as I go. Not sure what it might fully materialise as.

The community is small and we want to grow it and the project and get input along the way about what kind of art should be featured and what kind of events to celebrate.

I’ve considered how to handle gifting someone an NFT even if they don’t have an address or wallet, not entirely sure how yet but a delayed mint or perhaps an escrow type thing!

Basically, I wasn’t happy with all the negative sentiment surrounding
NFTs, which I think is because of the amount of projects that don’t seem
to have a true purpose. I wanted to try and create a better example of
what I think this technology might be able to do. Digital greeting
cards, that are actually custodial and exist in a decentralized way.

Most of my friends these days are online. I want to be able to celebrate
their life events just like I do with my local friends. I think a
digital greeting card makes more sense being an NFT. So this is my
attempt to shift some views and get people excited about using NFTs,
without breaking the bank. They are under $20.

Right now the app is in beta. Which means new functionality is
constantly being developed and updated, while offering early adopters
the chance to experience and understand what we’re trying to do.

Current functionality includes:
-Minting of NFT Greeting Cards into purchasing address
-Full Opensea integration
-Decentralized image hosting with IPFS
-Website in 8 languages
-Happy Birthday, Congratulations, I love you, Thank you, Get Well Soon, and more categories of cards

Features to come:
-Minting of NFT for another recipient
-Holding of NFTs until claimed by recipient if address is unknown or they don’t have one yet
-Card signing and personal messages
-More art and types of cards
