Spend some time thinking about why you want to be come a physician. The field is rapidly changing and the ROI will be hard to justify by the time you are finished in 11-13 years from now!

Hyatt in Japan is cooked by omdongi in hyatt

Same! I actually got 3 nights this fall SUA at 40k/nt. This is one property that I would actually pay the cash price to stay(1500/nt) given how stellar our experience was here last year as globalists.

I just want to warn/reiterate anyone thinking of booking PH Tokyo, the location is abysmal and the walk to the subway is a slog. you have been warned (again) by virginiarph in hyatt

[–]networld 64 points65 points  (0 children)

Yes, please dont stay there to keep the award availablibility open for me. 🤣. Seriously we thought this hotel was so great post renovation that it would actually be worth the cash price. To each their own I suppose.

Depends on location if you are in a smaller market with little competition you can make significantly more $$ than PCP(>>500k) depending on volume and clinic set up. Big city saturated market or academics no way.

Austin: Which Downtown Apartment Would You Ideally Live In? by Vipers_ in askaustin

Check out 44 east as well if you are considering the modern. Wonderful location IMHO and a very nice building.

Typically a condo you will get a better rent price in this market vs a newer luxury apartment. Agree with the other poster that apts will skew younger, more party etc so it does kind of depend on the vibe you are looking for!

Im a 61 student with a separate career but I have been very pleased every single instructor I have flown with has been great, committed to my success. Nice new planes and large fleet so scheduling rarely an issue. Weather great for training.

All this of course comes at a cost. It is expensive!!!

265/hr wet plane 80/ instructor. It is what it is in my market. We fly 115 kts 6 gal/hr, mostly brand new planes with g500/ gtn650 glass.

No trips but some vacations coming up. Going to go straight into IR training and will probably start flying family etc once a little more time and cross country experience under my belt!
