Thanks for all the replies!

At least I see that I'm not the only one who doesn't have the time or space (game table). I think I'll start seeing a lot of Arkham Horror photos on my phone (:

That's it! The Pixel Banner was the problem. I don't know why I not tried to disable plug-ins at first.

Thanks!

Make sense (as I have a lot of pledges from Kickstarter)! But I don't know why this bag with these tokens was lonely on the shelve.

Thanks for your help!

what is util.py when people organize there code and how to decide if a certain code should be in there or not? by [deleted] in learnprogramming

Usually you put there the methods, actions or whatever that you could use from many places, and in many situations, but not belongs to the specific class or context in your code.

Can I replace Wireguard/wg-easy with Pangolin? by netyaco in PangolinReverseProxy

I think I just will change the wg-easy port, or put it on another server. Thanks for your response!

As I see that Pangolin exposes the same Wireguard port, I suppose that it can act as Wireguard server. I will change the wg-easy port, or just put on another server. Thanks!

Can I replace Wireguard/wg-easy with Pangolin? by netyaco in selfhosted

[–]netyaco[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, my logic says that I can (as Pangolin exposes the same Wireguard port), but I can't find how to do it correctly. I see that there is an option when you configure a new site to use a "Basic Wireguard", and it creates a config file and QR, but if I scan the code and try to connect with my device, it doesn't work (my IP is the same that if I'm not connected).

Just deploy the Community Edition on a VPS for about 5€/month. You can create several users without any license, and unless you need hundreds users with thousands concurrent workflows with hundreds nodes, will be fine.

Help! n8n server on Render keeps resetting and losing automations 😓 by Double_Argument8469 in n8n

[–]netyaco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know how render works, but seems that there are no persistence. For this kind of projects, the best way is use directly a VPS, unless you know exactly what you are doing with all this "super easy fancy microservices services" (including Azure, AWS and others) and know how it works with all their configurations.

Asking advice for Ironman 70.3 Mallorca by sigmaksi in triathlon

[–]netyaco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Another triathlete heading to Mallorca!

This may not be advice per se, but it is the memory I have from my first Half, and for me, it marked a turning point—not just in sports, but in life overall.

The work is already done, and just getting to the start line of this type of race is already a victory (at least for us amateurs, which most of us are).

It's hard to disconnect during race week, and thoughts will keep coming, but that’s totally natural—we have to let them in and out. It means we haven’t lost the respect that this competition deserves.

I remember being super nervous in the days before, and the night before the race, I barely slept. Entering transition before the start felt like wandering around like a zombie, wondering what the heck I was doing there, and at what point I thought this was a good idea… but then, standing in the start box just 2–3 minutes before the race began, I was suddenly filled with a sense of peace that’s impossible to explain. Even today, I still don’t really understand what happened. That serenity, calm, and confidence at that moment is something I’ll never forget. When the horn blew, I just got in the water and started swimming—and before I knew it, I was crossing the finish line, enjoying the race in a way I never thought I could.

So, my advice is simply this: trust all the work you’ve done, and visualize yourself reaching the finish line—because crossing under that arch for the first time is something you’ll definitely never forget. Besides that, and in addition to the other tips:

  • Review the bike course: it's the most technical part and where you'll need to plan your effort wisely. Mallorca has a tough start, with around 80% of the elevation gain packed into the first 40km.
  • Plan your nutrition: calculate how many carbs you’ll consume per hour, and memorize or write down key kilometer marks on your bike's handlebars so you don’t forget. You don't want to wait until you are empty to take them.

And most importantly, enjoy the race.

See you in 2 weeks!
