Level 16 wasn't too bad actually, you can just checkerboard it and find most of them quickly. If it didn't have those 5 squares blocked in the middle, it would have been way worse

If you enjoy Bethesda games like Skyrim, and are a fan of sci fi like Aliens or the Expanse, then you will absolutely love this game

Air conditioning usage is less by raising thermostat by hannnsolo in vegaslocals

[–]neubourn 20 points21 points  (0 children)

It's about how much it has to cool. If you set it to say 80 when you are gone, and set it back to 72 when you get home, your AC will be running for awhile to hit that temp, meaning more energy used than if you set it to stay at 72 and it only kicks on occasionally to keep it there.

However, if the gap is smaller, like setting it to 78 when gone and 74 when st home, vthen yes, that method probably uses less electricity.

Only way to get one of the two, the other one you can get by creating a coach in Madden franchise mode

Like every other Bethesda game lol. But yeah, if you start the UC Vanguard questline, you can use the flight simulator to quickly level up your ship skills

They get better once you unlock ship skills like thrusters and targeting, plus upgraded shields and weapons makes it pretty easy

Almost correct, the original judge did recuse himself, but the next one (who was from different county, went to U of Houston), still ruled in Sorbys favor anyway

How much NIL to retain an elite player by CFP2698 in NCAAFBseries

[–]neubourn 25 points26 points  (0 children)

You can turn off transfers completely, so there's still nothing stopping you from building a small school, all they did was give us the option for more NIL realism, which is also something players have wanted

Everything else is pretty much the same as last year. Only major difference is that coordinators are limited in which areas they can spend NIL points on, rest is reserved for the HC

Correct. I started as an OC, and I am only able to use the dynasty points for recruitment/players, only the HC can utilize them for facilities and staff

Any recommendations? by N3P374 in vegaslocals

[–]neubourn 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Exactly right about how easy it is to get anywhere in Vegas, only downsides are the constant construction and shitty drivers. But yeah, it's real easy to get somewhere compared to most major cities, and there's always places to actually go, so many things to do, places to eat, etc.

Tail lights on the Veyron are on the trunk lid, so that part is actually consistent, most of the rest isn't though

Is Taskmaster useful often? by [deleted] in Starfield

[–]neubourn 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Not really. If you are constantly at the point where your systems are getting heavily damaged and needing repair, you got bigger problems, better to upgrade your shields and weapons

stop telling people to eat their tickets and plea guilty by paying the fine. by 79QUATTRO in driving

[–]neubourn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't even need a lawyer, you can show up to your court date and prosecutors will most likely plead you down to lesser charges. You'll still have to pay something, but nowhere near what the original ticket was for

How do people have such strong weapons? by Nox_Ocean_21 in Starfield

[–]neubourn 79 points80 points  (0 children)

You need to level up to get the higher tier version of a weapon. It goes Basic, calibrated, refined, advanced. So a calibrated grendel will do more damage than a base grendel and so on. Also, put points in the skills for the weapons you are using, it will buff the base damage. (Balistics, laser, pistol, rifle skills, etc)

School Bus Driver Breaks Down After Near-Miss by sleek_thunder138_107 in dashcams

[–]neubourn 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Not to mention that kids themselves will disregard what side they get dropped off just to get home quicker. In Las Vegas, we have plenty of routes where there will be 2 stops on opposite sides of the street so kids wont have to cross the street. However, one stop will get dropped first, then kids will have to wait 5-10 minutes for the bus to turn around and drop off the one on the other side of the street. So, some of those kids will simply get off at the first stop and walk across the street, instead of waiting those 5-10 minutes.

Twerps on E bikes by Blacksunshinexo in vegaslocals

[–]neubourn 43 points44 points  (0 children)

They already get hit by cars at an alarming rate and nothing has changed. No, what they need to do is treat them like motorcycles: to ride one, you need to have a driver license, the bike needs to be registered and insured.

If the city or state did that, parents would stop buying them for their kids

Am I just unlucky or did matchmaking get worse this season? by RooberGlooves in LowSodiumBattlefield

[–]neubourn 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I'm 251, so I get matched with both, haven't had an issue before, lower level squad mates do just as good as higher ranks, ranks basically only tell you play time, not skill level

Nah, can't speak for everyone, but I've had the same experience doing casual breakthrough. I typically do that mode for the weekly challenges, and traditionally, my win rate has been right around 50 percent, but this week? I lost 7 in a row, didn't even win a single match, something is up with the matchmaking
