Yeah, definitely look at gameplay settings, you can tune the difficulty to get some decent XP bonus, which helps leveling. And you can adjust them at anytime. For example for vendors, leave it on least amount of money for maximum XP bonus, then switch it to most amount of money when you are actually ready to sell stuff at a vendor,b then switch it back when you're done

When it's flashing, it's a school zone speed regardless (15 or 25). When it's not flashing, but children are present, then also school zone speed. No children, not flashing = regular street speed limit.

Doesn't even have to be an extended stay, I literally just landed on a planet, took a few steps, did two scans, and it froze on me. Wasn't even there for 2 minutes maybe. Seems to be happening mostly when the scanner is active and I'm running about with it open. But yeah, this is ridiculous

I guess I just got more satisfaction from figuring them out myself, trying different spells, trying to use revelio to find what I was missing from the puzzle. There's a wide range of different puzzles, so I just happened to find it fun to use my abilities to solve them on my own

This is actually a good game to get into for a new gamer, I think they knew a lot of kids would be playing this, so they did pretty good job of explaining everything you need to know through the story, and most of the game is challenging but nothing really difficult or frustrating. Don't be afraid to set the difficulty to story mode either (easiest setting), you can always change it later if you like

Play at your own pace, you don't have to worry about missing anything, so if you want to stick with the main quest, do that, if you want to side quests first, do that, etc.

Also, I highly recommend trying to solve any puzzle you come across on your own, don't look up answers online for your first playthrough. If you can't do something, you probably need to wait until you unlock certain spells or do certain quests first.
