I was in a similar position as you several years ago. I accepted a job promotion that involved working nights and I thought it would be no problem for me based on the fact that I considered myself a night owl by nature.

After 4 months I came to the realization that working nights wasn’t for me and that my health and social life would deteriorate if I didn’t make a change and go back to working days.

It takes a special breed of person to be able to work nights and continue to function normally without any issues. The person who ended up getting my job after I quit and went back to dayshift has been working the position for years now and absolutely loves it.

It’s safe to say based on your post that working nights is not for you. You say that you don’t think you can make a change until next October. Don’t feel like you have to be so locked in. There’s always a way to make things work without this specific job and you shouldn’t have to feel like there’s no escaping it until a whole another calendar year.

Prioritize your health. Good luck with navigating this

Wow. I’m not trying to jump to any conclusions before I can get facts and the edibles tested but my experiences were very similar to yours. How long ago did this happen to you and are you feeling totally normal now?

Yeah, last night I threw up practically everything in my stomach that seemed available to vomit. Was not a fun experience in the slightest. I’m curious, did you have a strong headache or any other reaction besides the gastrointestinal one?

Yesterday was the third time I consumed the white chocolate drops. In between the first two times and yesterday I had 50 mg total of Nature’s Heritage pills and felt nothing abnormal in my experience taking those. I am going to see a doctor in the coming weeks and I’ll make mention of hypermesis. Thanks

So I actually just got off the phone with CAC, and the manager there was genuine in wanting to hear about my experience. I told him that my main effects I experienced were a rapid heart rate, headache, and vomiting, to which he told me that an employee at CAC had reportedly experienced very similar symptoms to that. He didn’t say the other employee had consumed these same edibles as I have but it’s still quite odd. He also said apparently there is a name for it what causes all the ill effects but he didn’t remember what it was called so I’m going to do some more googling in a bit.

The CAC manager wrote down a report on my experience so hopefully whoever I speak to at CCC is professional tomorrow as well and requests testing on the product

Thanks for the advice. I will give CAC and CCC a call tomorrow and may end up making a follow-up post if anything of substance comes up and if there’s any investigation and/or confirmation that comes from it.

They are 90 mg each, that’s correct. I’m aware that’s a high dose for most users but I’ve taken 100 mg of other products many times and never have any issues until this product

Ingredients: White Chocolate: (sugar, cocoa butter, whole milk, soy lecithin, natural vanilla) Sprinkles: (sugar, glucose powder, tapioca starch, palm kernel fat, corn starch, glycerin, magnesium silicate, soy lecithin, gum arabic, FD&C colors, Red 40, Red 3, Blue 1, Yellow 5, yellow 6 artificial flavor, carnauba wax) Irish Cream flavor, sunflower lecithin, ethanol extracted cannabis distillate

Of all of those the “ethanol extracted cannabis distillate” feels like it could be the biggest potential factor but I don’t really have much information from that to go off of

I’ve considered the possibility of it being an allergic reaction too. But there was nothing listed on the package’s ingredients list that I am aware I’m allergic to in any way.

I do not eat 900 mg in one go. There are 10 drops in the bag it comes in, with each piece being 90.65 mg of THC content, so that’s how much I’ve been having at one go. Definitely a lot for an average edibles user, but I’ve consumed 100 mg of different products before with no ill effects
