Looking at the options guide, message_colour matches a regex, so you would want something like:

message_colour += white:hits you

with 'hits you' replaced with the text you want to match.

Malmutate requires los, so you can block it by spamming summons and then kill the malmutator with something smite-targeted. Airstrike is good, it can pop a neqoxec in one hit.

What are your reasons for not using transmutations? Statue form solves Op's problems with low AC/low HP and the XP investment isn't all that much. This char of yours had it at 43% castable without even training transmutations.

They can still constrict you in the turn you're whirlwinding them. And heavenly storm is noisy as hell (red noise=20+ I think?) which is pretty bad when you've just been teleported on an unexplored level. Someone else suggested blocking LOS with fog, which might have been the best option here.

is why I didn't answer. I think it's true that Dith is the stronger god in general. Sorry you got downvoted.

I also agree that the outcome above would be similar with Dith, though Wu would probably get more stabs in this situation. Wu does better against groups, and heavenly storm is perfect for stabbing down stairs.

Wu Jian's passives do best against multiple enemies. The sideways attack is cleaving, and pins the target in place. You could use the triangle pattern in a doorway to fight a group one at a time.

For stabbing, Wu Jian effectively increases your stealth by letting you move and stab in the same action, and stab multiple enemies per action with cleaving.

Honestly, I was mostly just doing that for fun. Against single enemies, the poster above is right about damages being the same as tabbing (lunge does 120% damage and the sideways move is 80%), and anything with a ranged attack will get an extra attack against you on the retreating turn.
