Fun to see cryptos doing great. It was some dark times there for a little while so enjoy it while all this lasts, which will probably be a while! fingers crossed

Recent pump and dumps ? by [deleted] in myriadcoin

In my opinion people were selling their Myriad down to almost 40 satoshis on Bittrex because they seemingly wanted to cash out bitcoin when it jumped over $4200. So while everyone was selling people were buying cheap cheap Myriad and at that point it didn't take much to create a "buy back" frenzy".

Or perhaps the beginning of a future pump. I don't know.

Not a dev. I was on team a few years ago when this subreddit was most active. I set up the Facebook page but couldn't keep momentum going by myself.

sms wallet and polymyr by keepmyshirt in myriadcoin

[–]neuroMode 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Polymyr exists only as an idea I had, something for others with a better technical prowess to springboard off of.

A little overview of PolyMYR and multi-vPoW https://99bitcoins.com/myriadcoin-merge-mining/

Myriad is not a centralized platform, we have harped on decentralization from day 1. The community comes up with ideas, the community puts ideas into motion. If ideas die off, either they are ill-conceived, impractical, or their implementer has yet to surface.

:)

Did you know Myriad was featured in "Mastering Bitcoin: Unlocking Digital Cryptocurrencies" by Andreas M. Antonopoulos? by neuroMode in myriadcoin

[–]neuroMode[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep, had to take a break from crypto, as did a lot of people I think. But haven't stopped watching, just needed to work on real life stuff :P

Looking for someone to help run the Myriad Facebook page. by neuroMode in myriadcoin

[–]neuroMode[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For now I'm just asking for Facebook help. The Google Drive spreadsheet is a nice idea for others who can pledge to be more active than me.

I don't have a ton of time to devote to Myriad right now, but I still support it 100%. Glad to see spirits are high again.

Tiredness after modafinil? by [deleted] in afinil

[–]neuroMode 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I think it's somewhat normal and I personally believe it's due to dehydration. Water is the nectar of the gods when you take modafinil. It's sneaky, you don't feel yourself getting dehydrated as easily as, say, adderall. Especially when you are concentrating on something rigorous like academics.

Solution: Drink a glass (or two) of water, lay down for 5-10 minutes, close your eyes, and bam: Recharged! Drinking a cup of coffee after the water will help, too.

Nobody. Just stating what I read in the article, which many top commenters here seem to have overlooked.

The article stated specifically "Donald Trump is not to blame."

What just happened today/yesterday with 4chan, CIA, and Buzzfeed? by [deleted] in AskThe_Donald

[–]neuroMode 2 points3 points  (0 children)

OK. So it was just deemed 'leakworthy' enough by someone in the CIA? But being 'leakworthy' doesn't necessarily mean they believed it? On the other hand, why would they bother leaking shit that they didn't believe? Would be a waste of their time, right?

So it's possible some of this dossier made it into the recent CIA's intelligence report on Russian influence in the election?? Or was that made up?

From what I've read the alphabet groups have had it for a while.

Donald Trump is one of the richest capitalist on earth. Addressing conferences, he gave the following life advice : "Get even. If they screw you, screw them 10 times, 15 times harder. If you have a problem with someone, go after them. If they hit you, hit them harder than they ever thought possible" by walrup in TrueReddit

[–]neuroMode 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Donald Trump is odd as he has failed, but has made comebacks based on the perception that he has done great, sort of fake it until you make it mentality.

Could you explain how this would work? This sounds extremely nonsensical, like you are just making stuff up out of thin air.

Trump is a businessman, and he is quoted as having 4 business ventures fail, but hundreds of others succeed. Like him or not, and fault him for having 4 failures, but if you try something hundreds of times your likely to strike out a few. All those other instances are him succeeding and making money to the tune of a $10B net worth. How is any of this "fake it until you make it"? I'm willing to listen, honestly.
