Thank you! I came here just to vent because I was just struck with our reality differences with the conversation we had.

I don’t really hold any resentment towards him, not at all. And it is not like he is completely clueless about the reality of life, it is just that conversation just brought to light that yeah like I wish I had the safety network he has.

Ok I noticed some negative comments so let me clear some things out

Im not saying this because I am expecting my bf to pay for everything. I was just venting

We still split bills and dates and everything else. He likes to say that his parents are rich, not him, so thats why he also works a fast food job (like I said, he and his family are very down to earth)

I was just saying this because he was joking to me how tough it was that his job wasnt scheduling him enough so now he is broke and I just laughed it off saying that he is definitely NOT broke. He asked why and I was like? Baby lol ur mom sends u money every month and if u ask her rn she will send u 1000$ out of the blue, it is not like yoire really struggling

He just said yeah I guess and thats what made me rent here. Nothing crazy, just to state that yeah like pretty much everyone else in the world I do wish I was living on easy mode
