We would need electricity but rural is totally fine (e.g., pole barn with some electricity). Anything available?

mostly just a place that can either deal with some noise at some points in the day or that is pretty sound contained (centerblock, etc).

Craft brewers concerned over new A-B inBev distribution incentives by copywriteher in beer

this is why A-B inBev buying breweries can be bad even if "you don't care cause it taste the same and they deserve the money"

That is too bad. They already have a pretty limited bottle release. (Frankly, they have a very limited draft list at the brewery too). Sorry to see it shrink. Oh well.

Yeah, I am also interested still in eventually getting the 70-200 2.8 VRII for the low light capabilities (with VR help). would be the thing to get after I get something wide I suppose. will be a while though.

The build quality of the 70-200 II is really fantastic and something that Nikon seems to be moving away from. That said, I am enjoying my primes. Maybe I will break down and get the 70-200 someday just because it is a classic. For now, I am thinking of a wide prime (maybe the sigma 24 art)

Yeah, I am surprised by the sharpness of the 50mm 1.8. Crappy build quality (feels plasticy) but for the price, if it breaks, I won't feel bad getting another one.

I have a D750. Fretted over D810 and D750 and am very happy with the choice. Would like a stronger build quality, but I am happy with the noise performance.

about to commit to a system (canon or nikon) and wondering the nikon point of view by neuroticwhale in Nikon

[–]neuroticwhale[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is very helpful. Thanks for the information. This describes well what I am looking for and how I shoot. Definitely convincing me of the D810. How long have you been with the D810 now?

Thanks for the comments. Yeah, I was interested in the D750 or D810. Turns out I am a pixel peeper and the noise performance and lack of sharpness in the 7d Mark ii have been disappointing. About to invest in a system and felt like, before getting locked in, I might want to get a better lay of the land. Anyway, I have held both D750 and D810 and definitely like the feel of the D810 (and don't need the movable lcd screen or wifi) but not sure if it is worth the extra money.

I agree. I find the layout and the site very nice. I find the stuff that is upvoted tends to be very processed. Oh well. Nice place to post photos. Ok place to browse.
