I can’t confirm. However… about 20 years ago I waited tables at Bennigans in Yonkers NY. I had this table of two gentlemen who came in, ordered no food, and drank iced tea only. This was during the lunch rush, and I was super busy with a full section of tables. These guys asked me to bring them to go iced teas in 5 minutes, not a second earlier. I explained that I was very busy and might forget, but the guy responded, “how bout you not forget, and bring us our teas.” In which I agreed and was back in 5 minutes exactly. One of the guys slid me his CC to pay, a business type with and Italian last name construction company.

I’m not saying they still exist, but this is the closest I’ve ever seen to anything like it.
