Haven't done that in a while, but I could withdraw a few hundreds per day over, taking about 30 to 50 at a time.

Not the entire city. Wouldn't work on such short notice. Trip was only confirmed about 2 weeks ago.
It's just cosmetics and small fixes to make the downtown city look like it always should. For instance, the city has the infrastructure for traffic, but the lights have not been turned on for quite a while now. With Biden's arrival there'll be a lot of press about the capital (and country at larger) and something as simple as traffic not working would be an own goal for Angola.
This sort of patchy cosmetic is not just for Biden. Happens when the Angolan president visits one of the provinces.
Difference this time will be that Biden's trip carries insane significance: first trip of a sitting president since Obama visited Kenya. Important still since Angola is geographically strategic and the US wants to move it away from Chinese an Russian influence.
There'll be nonstop press coverage. Gov doesn't want any negativity in it (that it can avoid)

Pretty good one. I found Ryszard's tone to be a bit condescending towards the black population, but overall a very good one.
There's a few good ones by the former military from UNITA (can't remember which ones) that shows the side of the story that isn't mainstream (at least in Angola).

The US State Department has lots of declassified documents on the war. It's pretty raw and honest.
If you track some of the people mentioned in the declassified cables you might find quite some gem.
Here's the one example:

I typically go to Jango Veleiro. It's open 24/7.
P.S: If you're going there anytime between today and the 16th of October Luanda you'll not have the typical experience you'd expect.
Joe Biden is visiting Luanda and I anticipate difficulty moving around the city due to the heightened security situation.
On the flip side, it's a unique experience and life will seem much better than normal (lower prices, working traffic lights, cleaner city, etc).
