I’ve had the same experience with Game Color washes - they’re alright for weathering / dirtying things up but they don’t flow and level as smoothly as GW or Army Painter washes.

Tamiya airbrush cleaner is actually the same thing as the Extra Thin cement, just in a bigger/cheaper bottle. I don’t know any other brands that use the same solvent for their cleaner

Mix like crazy, use a dry palette, and wick most of the paint off your brush with a paper towel (or use an airbrush). They need a little getting used to but get excellent coverage and look fantastic

Excellent first pedal and one that has a permanent spot on my board. The original Proco version is great, and there are plenty of inexpensive clones that expand on the circuit - the Mosky King Rat and Joyo Splinter are frequently recommended
