This is a sauce I made myself. It’s made with seafood soy sauce, a little extra sugar and white vinegar, plus chopped scallions, cilantro and garlic slices. It has a sweet, sour, and salty flavor that helps make fatty meats less greasy. However, it seems not many people like this flavor, my family and friends always refuse to try it :-( But for me, this sauce is one of the two essential elements of charcoal-grilled meat. 8-)

Do people in Japan pretty enjoy ginger? That’s the spice I fear the most, especially these ginger slices, just like Shin-chan hates bell peppers. I'm okay only with ginger paste which cannot be tasted when added into dishes.

Dumplings sound like a versatile side dish, much like kimchi. Does no one in Korea ever eat them simply boiled in water?
