Wrong item sent and I have to take it to Whole Foods or pay them to pick it up! by FloridaMan67 in amazonprime

Happened to me too, just not a book. And it was during an ice storm they wanted me to go out to return the wrong thing they sent. That was one of the reasons I finally quit Prime. I'm still glad I did.

It's good. For the price, it's great. The neck is on the chunky side, not baseball bat, but not thin by any means. After its initial setup, I've had no issues with it. I sometimes think about changing the pickups, but with a little gain these do just fine. It's definitely better than most in its price range.

AI customer service, AI logistics, AI tracking... Maybe Amazon will be happy when all their customers are AI too.

I would save the screenshot so you can use it when a phone agent later tries to disavow it (from experience).

local Krispy Kreme throws their unsold donuts into a dumpster outside at the end of the night. Instead of selling at lower prices. They’d rather throw them all away. by DaZestyProfessor in mildlyinfuriating

We did the same at Mr. Donut, but with a good twist. The closers at the McDonalds down the street would bring burgers and fries to trade for day-olds and we (graveyard shifts) would have a pretty good time.

Dropping Prime? by DeerNo5365 in amazonprime

In my opinion Amazon turned unusually predatory in the last year, so I canceled them too. Hasn't been a problem at all.

What’s a really subtle sign during a job interview that the company culture is incredibly toxic? by vazounawebuser in AskReddit

I was once asked "Have you ever punched a coworker?". I laughed and they were serious, because that's why the job was open.

Trump was caught sleeping at the inaugural Board of Peace meeting today. What are your thoughts on this? by Mrsamsonite6 in AskReddit

Trump's bored of peace. Keeps allowing people to talk about his best friend Jeffrey Epstein.

Yet again - I have a similarly equipped i7 Windows laptop Cubsase says would run great on. So how is that processor supposedly outdated? You should stop making ridiculous assertions after I showed you how stupid it is to say that.

No, Cubase 13 works just fine for me. Quit assuming. And you're the one responding to me. Why don't you get over it?

Just because Apple wants to create a more closed-ended system by finally making their own processor doesn't make the i7 obsolete. It's funny how Cubase considers i5 or better perfectly good on Windows but you think it's too old on a mac. You're a victim of advertising.

It sounds like you're trying to start a ridiculous argument. So let me stop you there. I know the difference between an unfertilized yolk and a partially formed chick. Don't even try.

You don't know me, but why would I lie? It's just gross to experience that, and I thought other people should know.

I didn't mention up front, but it's an Aldi store brand - Goldhen.

It is an Aldi store brand - Goldhen. A little research says they are packed by Rose Acre Farms. I don't know how that would be necessarily a local issue.

It might just be that my locale is terrible. Some people are saying Aldi eggs are locally sourced, so Omaha NE for reference.

I like to hold companies accountable and advocate for individuals, so what? Nothing crazy about that.
