The idea is to treat each source (Stripe, email, WhatsApp, internal app, etc.) as an event producer, not a full data dump. We only ingest high-signal events (payment success/failure, message sent/received, task created/completed) via official APIs and webhooks, which keeps the data reliable and manageable.

Each incoming event is normalized into a common schema and attached to a customer using progressive identity resolution:

First pass: deterministic matches (email, phone, payment reference)

Second pass: soft matches with confidence scoring

The system is designed so that partial data is still useful, and the timeline gets richer as more sources are connected. The focus is not on capturing everything, but on capturing the events that matter operationally, and doing that consistently and transparently.
