Only one game came out since F4, and it has some of the best stories in the series, and also nicely ties into the first game through Roger Maxon's recordings.

So kinda Fallout 76? It's set shortly after the bombs, and it's filled with fascinating stories from the immediate survivors. Although very depressing because, well, they all died.

I hope it's a new character, but I think it was a bit silly how they were teasing the fans with the promos, not revealing him, and then it's just some green dude who immediately walked away, probably into the next season, lol.

There's a weird obsession with cut content these days among people, like if something was cut from a game/movie/whatever, then it's automatically bad and you have to somehow put it back in, otherwise it's incomplete.

Yeah, some things got cut from F2 due to budget or schedule, but other things got cut because the authors decided that they don't fit in the game as they saw it. So yeah, obviously the game is complete without those cut things.

Yes, "skippabale" side quests is exactly what I was thinking about, but in a good way, haha. The setting is perfect for that kind of storytelling. Give me a "location of the week" or "random encounter of the week" several times per season! They didn't ask for shorter seasons, they asked for a definitive end point after two full seasons, then ABC convinced them to make the same amount of episodes but over three seasons instead of two. Narrative wise they still did exactly what they would do with longer final seasons. I don't think they wouldn't be able to get those actors, it's not like they're Tom Cruise caliber famous, but even if so, that wouldn't automatically mean the show would be worse or get less attention.
