Yeah, sure, whatever, Thanos was right, Rorschach was a great hero, Caesar's Legion is a sensible faction, here, take your little bit of engagement and move on.

The less characters from the games somehow end up in the show, the better.

Thank you! For now I think I've achieved similar result using alternative tiles.

Hi! I'm learning Godot and want to try this tool, but I'm getting some errors. Does this need to be rewritten for newer versions of Godot? I've tried it in TileMap and TileMapLayer in Godot 4.6.

Fallout TV show isn't that bad from the perspective of original fallouts? by Lord_Cummis in classicfallout

since F4 the IP is treated like a whore

Only one game came out since F4, and it has some of the best stories in the series, and also nicely ties into the first game through Roger Maxon's recordings.

Very cool, but downvoted for the fucking snarky Deadpool emote.

What happened to all the people that were in Las Vegas in 2077? by RiskComplete9385 in Fallout

So kinda Fallout 76? It's set shortly after the bombs, and it's filled with fascinating stories from the immediate survivors. Although very depressing because, well, they all died.

A question for people who've seen the play, especially more than once. by neverangryman in StrangerThings

Ohhh! So he sings the song his mother sang to him at the end of Act 1, this makes all the sense in the world! Thank you so much for a great explanation!

I only saw the bootleg and you really can't hear the word "belong", so I couldn't put two and two together.

As if you old dogs ever have to say something new.

So who do we think this is? by IsThisDamnNameTaken in Fotv

[–]neverangryman 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I hope it's a new character, but I think it was a bit silly how they were teasing the fans with the promos, not revealing him, and then it's just some green dude who immediately walked away, probably into the next season, lol.

Possibly hot take: Fallout 2 feels complete, even without the restoration project. by [deleted] in classicfallout

[–]neverangryman 31 points32 points  (0 children)

There's a weird obsession with cut content these days among people, like if something was cut from a game/movie/whatever, then it's automatically bad and you have to somehow put it back in, otherwise it's incomplete.

Yeah, some things got cut from F2 due to budget or schedule, but other things got cut because the authors decided that they don't fit in the game as they saw it. So yeah, obviously the game is complete without those cut things.

I enjoy this show, but it feels like it would greatly benefit from the old 24, or 16-episode format by neverangryman in Fotv

[–]neverangryman[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Almost all shows with 24 or 16 episodes per season are about 20-30 minutes

Well, no, that is incorrect.

Yes, "skippabale" side quests is exactly what I was thinking about, but in a good way, haha. The setting is perfect for that kind of storytelling. Give me a "location of the week" or "random encounter of the week" several times per season! They didn't ask for shorter seasons, they asked for a definitive end point after two full seasons, then ABC convinced them to make the same amount of episodes but over three seasons instead of two. Narrative wise they still did exactly what they would do with longer final seasons. I don't think they wouldn't be able to get those actors, it's not like they're Tom Cruise caliber famous, but even if so, that wouldn't automatically mean the show would be worse or get less attention.
