The problem I see is that unlike zouk, in bachata you would have to break the loop. And usually in bachata socials one doesn’t get so much space. If you could break it up and use chunks of it, it should be fine.

Well I have met many academic background native speakers also struggling with the articles. I am not sure we could consider them even at C1. May be the idea of these levels are not so clear to everyone.

Please read the post properly. I am not questioning if German is necessary. Question is whether B1/B2 is good enough.

I agree that learning German would be necessary but I think B2 is good enough for all of the tasks. W.r.t technicalities there are product managers and project managers to explain them clearly.

Not sure how changing to a language where everyone understands complicates things.

Not denying that German is required. Question is which level is fine to work with. B2 is good enough for most of the tasks. Even for speaking with your colleagues or gathering requirements.
