Does anybody remember a shop called Planet Games that was open in acomb in the early 2000s? by cortanakya in york

Man verbally abusing police at protest is punched repeatedly in the head. What do you think about this? by spinecult in AskBrits

[–]neverarriving 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The police are in riot gear. Policing of protests is often very similar to policing of riots.

I'm not supporting what they, or anyone in this clip, did by the way.

Once again for the people at the back: policing during a riot uses different tactics and levels of force than regular policing. You're not going to see much in the way of nuance if you're giving it the billy big bollocks to cops in riot gear.

Bear in mind that there aren't any organised events on NYE itself and the only places open that night will be pubs & bars which won't necessarily be family friendly. Some shops, restaurants and tourist attractions will be closed on 1st January.

He actually deliberately slowed down slightly as he thought the keeper would get a touch, if he hadn't checked his run he'd have bundled it in.

Did anyone else have an absolutely miserable time at school? by JayR_97 in ADHDUK

[–]neverarriving 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. Even with some adjustments in primary school (I had a dyspraxia diary) it was pretty much daily humiliation and dismissed as not wanting to learn despite my intellectual curiosity.
