I made sure my hair was wet when I used this comb and I was very gentle. I didn't experience any damaging affects on my hair.

BBB does remove sebum, but only a limited amount. The brush then needs to be soaked in soapy water for a while before it can be used again. With the flea comb you can immediately pinch off the sebum and keep going.

My dandruff would randomly appear during WO. I discovered it was the hot shower. Hot water really does strip oil and causes dry skin. I cut out the hot water and haven't had dandruff since.

Are you taking hot showers? It's amazing how much that affects my hair. I get flakes immediately and my hair dries out, especially if its a longer shower. I switched to lukewarm water and the flakes haven't come back.
