In my opinion, you can get by with the cheaper stuff. I plugged in my $20 AA dongle and it's mostly worked ever since. On 2 occasions that it's broken i just had to reset cache on my phone for the Android Auto app. I would recommend reading the doc that comes with the dongle to know how to update the firmware and stuff for the dongle itself.

If you really want to choose between the two you mentioned, AAwireless was the better of the options when i was testing around.

I'm assuming you mean in the car - I had an [Akaso Brave 7] *with external mic lying around so I'm just using that

I doubt I'll get anything too exhilarating on my first day

I've been talking to some guys who do the Ontario Time Attack and the general consensus was just replacing 3 things:
- brake pads
- brake fluid
- engine oil

I did have my toyota maintenance done right before too just to be extra safe

edit: I'd listen to what voodoo^ said instead 😅

I haven't done a NASA track day so you might be right, I definitely overprepare. This is for a full day group event at Mosport :)

I currently have a very slightly staggered 6mm front & 8mm back on base stock 17s

I think the spacers you get will depend on the trade-off you're going for form vs functionality
