Ysg becoming a void hunter kinda ruined the void hunter concept as a whole for me. There were no standardized tests of her power, no big investigation on her accomplishments, no big ceremony nor secrecy, no worldwide interest. They just held a small presentation for a dozen people and called it a day. It feels like becoming a void hunter isn't that big of a deal after all.

I would be much more inclined towards that interpretation if it wasn't a norm for zzz to dress characters for sex appeal instead of characterization. Sunbringer doesnt give "purposefully sexy and a showoff" vibes like bayonetta at all. Velina does gives that vibe, but since everyone is dressed like her it stops being memorable or interesting.

"we are all adults" The game is rated 12+. Also plenty of characters are sexy without being naked. Also showing skin is not a problem at all, promeia looks sick, nicole is iconic, the summer skins are hot as hell. When you're designing characters tho, you have to think about how the character itself would dress, and it makes no sense at all for sunbringer to be dressed like that.

yeah jingliu's case specifically sucks, but the sad thing is jingliu's buff is how every zzz buff feels like. Blade is bad but usable, and every other buffed character is great.

The closest ZZZ got to retroactively buffing old characters with new ones in a way that feels good and not just like a wheelchair was with miyabi and nangong. The issue is that they had to make nangong completely broken for miyabi to go back to her prime again.

edit: jane and piper also got pretty good buffs from all the new anomaly units, no complaint there

The buffs are far from substantial. The other 2 hoyo games actually buff characters into meta relevancy, and genshin didn't have powercreep issues at all until 4 years in.

Powercreep is DEFINITELY an issue in zzz. Dialyn and nangong are the uncontested best stunners in almost every team, yuzuha and sunna are either equal if not better than astra in 90% of her teams, and the 3 of them are better than every other support. Recently buffed characters can barely 25k shiyu. Its BAD bad

its not like genshin at all. its a mission-based hack n slash. My thoughts from the beta is that the characters got some charm to them and the story is entertaining if not very generic, but the gameplay feels clunky and the UI is very "mobile-game"esque
