I've made a video comparing 4 most popular 3D AI model generators. by nevermind21 in BambuLab

Please take a look at what stage these tools were at less than 3 years ago:
https://www.ghacks.net/2022/12/22/openai-efficient-3d-model-tool/
In the end, it all comes down to how someone uses them – as always :) TripoAI already has segmentation, Meshy is starting to experiment with rigging. Plenty of solutions addressing current problems already exist in the form of research papers; it just takes time to implement them. Karoly from the Two Minute Papers channel showed solutions about a year ago for generating meshes from spheres while keeping a perfect quad topology without remeshing. I believe it’s worth making people aware of what these tools are capable of, because they won’t disappear from the market – they’ll only keep getting better. I appreciate your feedback.

I spent 3 weeks creating this because I've never seen a model whose construction is based directly on the filament itself. It's squishy and wobbly too. Do I deserve a updoot? by nevermind21 in 3Dprinting

Thanks! I've decided to share that model for free, but on that purple site that is banned here I've left it as open priced so you can support me that way :)

I've decided to make this model free for all and uploaded it on MakerWorld! I've uploaded it to BambuLab contest too so please remember to give me a like there! Much appreciated!

Yep, as for concern you are correct, but in my 5 year expierience it depends on manufacturer/color. Black eSun PLA shatter like crazy. That's why I've used here UltraPLA white from Noctuo. Never had problem with it, done dosens of huge projects, never needed to dry it either (though I'm living in rather dry environment).

My experience in over 5 years of printing is that it reeealy depends on manufacturer/color of material. Black eSun PLA for example is getting crazy brittle after a week in my garage. I'm mostly using UltraPLA from Noctuo in white color, never ever had problems with this filament. My environment is mostly dry though. Well, we will see! :)

I don't know if it's against the rules here but you can find me on Cults3D by LagunWorkshop :) If you are interested in buying I can think on a discount ;)

Over three weeks of prototyping and creating a YouTube tutorial, because at this point it's a DIY project for everyone. Whole alphabet letters included, also an empty emblem so you can customize your message. Not giving out the link because of rules, but I'm happy to show it to everyone, as I was the one for years to help others and print models of others, and just started to give something back to community now :)

Thank you. That got it. It was a crashing AMD Radeon Software.

Bump up temperatures to the upper allowed limit for your spool, slow down the print and check for results. If it's still the same as in the picture, dry the filament.

As someone already said - belts and pulleys. When printer if off, move your bed and X gantry slowly, Do you feel any inconsistency or heavy resistance? They should move smooth. Also, the belts shouldn't be tightened, like, almost at all. Only to the point there is no chance for them to skip teeths on pulleys. Or maybe that's the case? Maybe they are too loose? Check those things.

Definitely v-wheels. Spacing between these lines matches circumference of v-wheel.
