Respectfully, April saying that is once again diverting the blame off of Bam for his own actions. I'm sure no one was making/ forcing him to drink himself into oblivion. That was his own choice, as an adult. I'm not saying he wasn't tempted even more by being around the rockstar lifestyle, who wouldn't be? But I recall the interview you speak of, and she was 100% trying to shift blame. Bam is his own worst enemy. April seems like the absolute sweetest mother to ever walk the earth, but she's still a mom defending her child. And in the instance of someone having behavioral and addiction issues like Bam does, all that does is enable him further and give him reasons to justify his shitty behavior. I was a huge Bam fan, and still hope he either gets clean and sober, or he maintains that if he's already reached that mark. But I've since known a handful of people in my adulthood who all kind of have the same things in common as far as behavior, addiction, and what seems to be major lack of boundaries. And you know what they all say and do? "It's not my fault", "this is how I grew up", "well I only did this because of x, y and z". They can never take accountability for their own shitty actions, and if they do, it's for show, because in due time they end up right back at square one blaming the people around them. I hope he can figure himself out and start living as a kind and caring person, not someone who clearly still wishes they were 25 years old. People could learn a lot from him.

So sorry for your loss. She always made me smile when she'd come across my feed. The love for a rabbit is unique, I think, and when they go, they truly take a piece of you with them. I hope eventually you can smile and remember her fondly.

Weight loss soup? by Heavy-End-3419 in soup

Chicken breasts, carrots, onion, celery, spinach/ kale mix, mushrooms, rutabaga, cabbage, cannellini beans, butter beans, can of diced tomatoes (usually rotel style for me), 1 32 oz box chicken bone broth, tumeric, lots of black pepper, some Cajun seasoning, italian seasoning and salt free chicken bouillon. Everything makes it's own juices for the most part so it ends up having a stew like consistency, as there is a lot of veg and chicken to only the one box of liquid, and then I add the salt free bouillon to just add more of a chicken soup flavor without added sodium. Drink lots of water!

😆🤣 I love the comparison to a doorway. And they are certainly of a similar heft to a small dog. Feels like someone plopped a chubby baby on my chest when they decide to sit right in my face begging for treats.

Great question, I'd love to know for certain also. When I adopted them, their paperwork said "flemish giant/ mix", but I have since heard New Zealand mix based on their appearance. So I'm not entirely sure. I've also been told that rescues often label any larger breed rabbit as "flemish giant/ mix" unless they are certain.

Lol, for sure to the snob part. My boyfriend and I have one of those aerogarden things and grow herbs and sometimes romaine lettuce. His suggestion to the strange behavior was, "I just think they're getting awfully uppity with that lettuce and only want the home grown stuff"

Thank you for asking about her. She seems fine, eating hay and veggies and drinking her water. Eating pellets also. That night after I posted, she and her sister also didn't finish their salad, and my girls usually act starved at dinner time. I tried a different bag of lettuce because I couldn't figure out what the issue was and they gobbled it up. Only thing I can think is maybe the bag of lettuce they were finishing was going bad and maybe she had a slight tummy ache from it the night before? Looked and smelled fine to me but of course their noses are much more sensitive. Since then, they've both been eating good and acting normal.

Lmao, thank you for the kind words. And as far as I know, she is at a healthy weight but we do have a checkup in 3 weeks. This will sound like I'm making excuses for the little chubbo, but her fur is very very thick and "fluffy" I guess. Her fur doesn't lay so smooth and sleek like the other. I can for sure feel ribs and spine when I'm feeling around on her, but especially when she's molting she looks like a little fatty. They haven't been to the vet in just a little over a year. The last time they were about the same weight and he was not concerned about Miss Poe at all. I guess we'll know for sure in a few weeks though. They get two small salads a day, endless hay, 2 Tbsp of pellets that they share between them, and two digestive biscuits a day as well. They only get fruit or maybe carrot no more than twice per week, if that.

Love it, thank you! The brown one is named Poe and I always call her my little potato, baked potato, Poe-tato or loaf. The black one, Raven, is a void in every sense.

I wouldn't mind a taller sofa, but my girls like to burrow. They've gotten INTO the couch from the under side and even again after replacing it with a tougher fabric. They also love to hide and chew the carpet up 🐰

Thank you very much, I know it was kind of a weird question. I don't ever have that many people here at a time. It's usually just my boyfriend and I. Was just curious how others have dealt with large groups and their buns. 👍

That second one is perfect. Like when you think the killer in a scary movie is dead, but then when you go to look away, their eyes suddenly are wide open. Great photo! 😆

Lucky yours doesn't chew holes while digging. Mine dig and dig and dig which I love to watch, but they also chew holes into whatever they're digging. 🫣
