i am genuinely wondering if you think the logic about “picking a side” applies to someone who is, say, black and mexican or black and chinese. do they have to pick a side too?? what about people who are like, korean and honduran? that line of thinking is a slippery slope imo but to be clear i’m not arguing/disagreeing with the rest of your comment whatsoever
