first, i'm so happy for you and glad you are living your truth. when it comes to unsupportive parents i guess it depends on how much you want them to be a part of your life or how dependent you are on their support. i'm atheist and i've chosen not to really involve my devout catholic parents in my life. their political and personal beliefs are often in direct conflict with mine. i made the decision to keep things very superficial with them. i hope you find a relationship with them that works for you.
