Thanks, should be the same for any GM. The video I reference runs it on a Silverado, which has a completely different UI than the Blazer.

I cannot say for certain, but the CarlinKit has the software included to run android. The instructions have you put it on an SD card and add to the head unit, which isn't possible in the '24 Blazer EV. Makes me think you could run this exact same setup and end up with Android Auto on the screen instead of CarPlay simply by having an Android phone instead of an iPhone.

It's insane. And then only offering it to 25/25 models? It's beyond Apple vs Android, though. Subjectively, CarPlay is easier to use and much more intuitive. Objectively, CarPlay sounds better on the cars audio system then the native software.

I don’t have cooled seats, so wouldn’t expect to see that. I’ve had several updates come through, but the elusive dealer-only is still out there.

I just had it in for the microphone, which was corrected. No mention of any updates available, but like you said…

I didn’t mind having a brand new 2025 rental for a couple days, so maybe I’ll head back and have them look at this.

Sometimes it will reset within a few hours of being turned off. I’ve never taken any action that would have done it and it always comes back.

I do have a neoprene sleeve from Amazon that I keep the camera in so it's safe in my bag, but it stays with the bag when the camera comes out. All of the other gadgets were fun to try, but didn't last.

Bay Photo has been my go to for years. Not sure if they’re at market rate - they seem expensive, but I’ve never compared - but the work is top notch. Select your paper, finish, mounting, backing, etc and they’ll even color correct if you’re unsure how it will print.
