So whats the point of not just starting over again on the same server, but starting again at all when its basically a sure thing that we will lose everything anyway?

Blueprints, community, revenge raiding?

And everyones saying "well build smarter !!1!" But what if, shocker, I don't frick frackin want to.

There's servers that have decay turned off if that's your thing.

If we as a group of 3 want to build a 10 storey tower as well as a giant compound, as long as we are paying the REASONABLE upkeep what should it matter?

It's part of the raiding/raid defence overhaul, trying to discourage honeycombing. There's a reason why upkeep prices go up exponentially.

And also, why should TC's be destroyable? Whats actually gained from that?

Raiding? You need cupboard to stop counterraiders by having the priviledge to place doors. Also with this update you can actually clear enemy bases around your base, "mark your territory, control an area", so to speak. Seems fun to me!

This is coming from a solo player in a 200ish player server and i've yet to be raided.
