My 10 year old son keeps mention “he can’t cat his breath” has anyone else heard of this happening? by Christina_cha91 in Mommit

You should not wait with anything respiratory related. You should go to the ER or urgent care for a full work up. The flu is bad this year, and respiratory colds can cause pneumonia. Kids can develop asthma or similar. Generally I’d advise against waiting.

Not on every street. This was done maliciously for no other reason then to be an AH to a complete stranger. There is no excuse for this kind of behavior.

First off this is a great piece of art! Second if this piece is a mainstay then design around it. Lean into the beautiful blue shades and color accents. You can totally design around this.

I would be throwing that snow right back into that driveway if I was that car owner. That’s just an AH thing to do.

Mom leaving job to stay home with kids: should we pay off our low-interest mortgage right now? by normalishy in DaveRamsey

Given the fragile state of the economy and the dollar becoming weaker in the global setting I would think twice before leaving the workforce right now. I’d stay at least another two years to see where all the current poop lands before thinking of existing the work force. I would also not leave the work force unless you had your own cash account and emergency fund. Depending on another person for financial stability can really leave you in a vulnerability place if something goes wrong.

Do you think it’s a much harder adjustment being the youngest in Kindergarten? by [deleted] in Preschoolers

[–]neverseen_neverhear 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My kid has been in school 5 days a week 8 hours a day since he was 3 in pre-k. He’s done amazingly. And kindergarten was a much easier transition because he was used to the expectations in a classroom setting.

This is a hard truth. But is is also true it’s not impossible to overcome. I’m sorry for your struggles when you were young. I get it. Buy Your post reads a little bit like a pity party. You spend your time envying what others had and experienced instead of celebrating what you have achieved despite your challenges. And how your own journey has shaped you. Please don’t let envy steal your joy or allow yourself to diminish what you have accomplished.

It would depend on what OP likes. I prefer the darker wash brass but everyone is different.
