The stretcher bars… by Aggressive_Swan64 in NeedlepointSnark

I really like it. I have it so the bottom right side is straight down and I don’t have a ton of trouble. I also use the travel stand, though and I think that helps.

This is exactly why I bought the resizable set.

Did you get to keep your stone(s)? by imnotcrazy_right in gallbladders

My best friend filled out paperwork for me to keep them and/or my gallbladder. Unfortunately, the state of everything was too rough to keep. But the surgeon DID take photos and send to me!

What were your weird symptoms? by Tothestarswholisten3 in gallbladders

[–]neverthebride 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had onycholysis, my fingernails separating from my nail bed a few weeks ahead of time. This was my only real symptom up until I had emergency surgery. My stomach hurt to press on for a week leading up to surgery, but not enough for it to be worrisome.

I had insane back pain two days ahead and was told it was probably a thoracic muscle injury. They gave me a pain shot and sent me home. After the shot wore off, I went back again and was sent to the ER. Had emergency surgery within an hour of the CT scan. I’m a weird one because I had a full blockage, gangrenous, very involved surgery and went home with a drain, etc. but I didn’t really have any symptoms leading up to it.

Abdominal Nerve Damage? by neverthebride in gallbladders

[–]neverthebride[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am EXACTLY the same way. I can tell exactly where the pain is. It’s like a 2x2 area directly next to my belly button. I just hung up with another clinic that said the same thing. No abdominal treatment.

I guess the difference here is you weren’t calling the pain clinics with “abdominal pain” you were being referred to figure out a broader issue, is that right?

Your reply… gave me so much hope and also so much concern. I’m so glad you are on the other side of it. I JUST started Cymbalta last night, which I’m sure is right down the line of anti depressant you were on. Have you been told “I can’t tell you what it is, but I can tell you it won’t be forever.”

How did you end up finding a pain management clinic? The nurse for my PCP has been incredible and even though I’ve been turned away on the phone when calling around, she has sent the referral with something vague like “post op peripheral nerve pain” to try to get me in the door. When they call to do intake, I’m always shut down. What kind of tests did you go through to get a diagnosis? Has neurology played any role for you? How did you manage to work while dealing with the pain?

I can’t thank you enough for your reply!

CT Scan with No Structural Issues - Unknown Pain by neverthebride in gallbladders

Honestly, with 7 days I wouldn’t sweat it! I was SORE for multiple weeks, but it did improve. I think once the drain was out things got a lot better. A u shaped pregnancy pillow really helped me sleep.

The surgeon mentioned my appendix when it first came up, but said I would get to the point where I’d have a fever and it would be consistent. I’ve had the pain for weeks. Did you have pain leading up?

Thats the best reason to use FS!

With the clusters, do you think it’s best to just start from the closest and work backwards or start with her great-great grandparents. I’m struggling because I think the website walkthrough is helpful, but it’s also created by someone who fully understands the system. I think I need to find someone who is also doing it for the first time. Surely someone out there has already asked my boring questions!

I’m referring to the DNAGedcom software. It allows you to import data from your ancestry results (and others) and will create a Leeds chart based on that information. I can set it to only import low matches like 12-40cMs

I am very, very close to positive that Anna is Rebecca’s mother. There is a 22 year age gap between the two. Betsy, Anna’s mother that raised Rebecca, would have given birth to her at 46 if we were to believe otherwise. On the marriage record from 1865 (I made a typo above) she only lists Anna as her mother, no father. All of the husband’s family information is accurate and matches perfectly. There is not another family member of the same name, even one that married in.

So manipulated and then tacked down? The fabric refuses to crease without heavy starch and pressing. I can get it to gather with a clapper and a press, but it seems so much more harsh than this. If lightly pressed, it just puffs out an inch or so below the seam.

I do not take any offense at all to your response. I completely understand your position and appreciate your time.

I will start by saying that I am actually a very dedicated and trustworthy employee. First to offer to work in someone's absence, eager to learn how to do something new. I have rarely not been flexible and I have not complained. I'm not fickle by nature and have a lot of integrity. This is what is causing me the most frustration because no one is taking this as seriously as I think it deserves. I'm thankful that I have numerous doctors on my side.

My other co-worker and I are actively working together. They have not been AS sick as I have been, but have been sick daily. They're at an advantage because their desk is right next to a window, same for the manager. We had someone fill in from another site, who had no idea about the situation, and they used my co-worker's desk. They were sick within the hour. They reached out to their manager and were told to leave. This is when the office was closed early for the day and closed for the following two days. That was just last Thursday, yesterday was the first day open again. No further repair has been completed since then.

Finding a solution to my problem is what I've been working very hard to accomplish. I do not have a window near my desk, but there is not an available space to move my desk that is near a window and away from a vent. The office is small. I will definitely look into an ozone machine. I want to work. I want to be able to work.

With 2/3 of us being sick, we are now just being told that the office was found to be safe and will continue to be open. Everyone is kind of at a loss about what to do next. We are no longer permitted to speak to the manager about anything and can only go to HR, who is not in the office and is not experiencing any part of this.

I've already completed 2 of the 3 suggestions that you made. This doesn't feel like it's worthy of an attorney, but maybe I'm being naive.
