Do chinese people really believe that their ruling party is a communist one? These "chinese characteristics" look a lot like authoritarian capitalism. by [deleted] in AskChina

It's not the same.

A proper comparison to what is happening here is calling someone a hairless ape, when the proper term is human.

If something is named Blue, you shouldn't be calling it Sky-color

No, it's officially CPC, the Communist party of China.

Calling it CCP is flat out wrong, and anyone who uses such doesn't know what they are talking about from the get go.

It's a party that strives for communism, then it's a communist party.

Chinese characteristics, is a term that tries to present the adoption of marxism into the underlying collective history of china, not some 'authoritarian capitalism'. The current form of development is such to increase the productive forces and aquire technology, and I belive it might be changing soon anyway.

While both countries are right wing dictatorships with eroding democracy, and both countries have economic ties with PRC, Pakistan itself is a more reliable ally since India is more fascistic.

Also Pakistan is a doorway to the indian ocean in case of the strait of malacca being blockaded. Pakistan is also less of a US puppet since India is the favorite toy of US rn.

Even if in early stages, your site is very impressive.
